Dreadful experience, restaurant full of noisy kids and adults not what my wife and I expected at that time of night.
Ravelston House – EdinburghThis was a wonderful place. The staff were welcoming and so helpful especially as we were a larger group. Only a few customers can eat here at a time. The food was very delicious with an amazingly good choice of options. I had scallops to start followed by halibut. Food was served promptly and the staff were very friendly. Choice of drink too was reasonably good with even champagne as an option. The fish is fresh and the chef knows what he/she is doing. This is a place you must visit when on the Isle of Mull.
Cafe Fish – Argyll and ButeNow this is a wee gem this restaurant. Cronie’s bar & restaurant combines quality and value and delivers a beautiful meal. Had haggis bonbons for starters, succulent roast beef, Yorkshire pud, roasties and veg for mains and a delightful cheesecake for dessert. Have stayed at the hotel before too and wouldn’t hesitate to book in at the Golden Lion in Stirling whenever I pass through. Excellent friendly staff help make the meal or stay extra special.
The Golden Lion Hotel – StirlingOur first visit : Fantastic food that is well prepared and decent prices . There is a service charge of 10% that they are ok with you not paying however everything was spot on and we had no issue with this , just hope that this money goes to the staff. The Bang Bang chicken is amazing best ever We will defo be back

We decided on the high tea, so glad we did as the Mac n cheese was delicious. Scones and cakes were great too. Service was 1st class from start to finish. Staff are all lovely and very attentive
