Have been before a few times and really liked it but my last visit was very disappointing with small portions,left still feeling hungry and wouldn’t rush back

The new menu is great and our fish meal was excellent

First time visit. We had sea bass and cod loin, both were excellent as was the service. Only question was two oysters my wife had. She had a stomach upset the following day which was probably due to them. Will definitely return.

What a lovely experience. I came around 5 years ago and loved it then. It was even better this time. The food was delicious, although I’d have liked Cod instead of halibut as the menu stated but it was still fantastic. The flavours and presentation were great! The service was laid back and all the ladies were lovely. It was my mum’s birthday and they made it special. The whole restaurant sang happy birthday to her which just shows the friendly warm atmosphere here. I think the owner also said happy birthday and goodbye at the end of the evening but I’m not 100%. I love that you can see the kitchen too! I am a true believer in going out to eat what you would like rather than watching the pennies, but a bottle of wine, 4 beers, 3x3 course and 1x2 courses for £183 including service, well worth it! For the quality you get! Well done to Into The Blue.

Great restaurant with ambience ang wonderful food and wine. Great service too !

Delighted to return to Into The Blue following too long a gap.. Our party of 4 all enjoyed our choice and our waitress was friendly and able to guide and advise on menu and blackboard specials.. We hope to introduce further new friends to the relaxed atmosphere of to this sometimes windy corner of Shoreham.

Had lunch at Into the Blue yesterday with friends. The food and service were excellent as usual. They have updated their menu so it was good to try some new dishes. Highly recommended. We have already booked our next visit.

What a treat! A cosy little restaurant with the kitchen on display. We shared our dishes as they were all so delicious. The presentation is fabulous too. The Indian-kissed potatoes are amazing! Lovely friendly service too. If we lived closer we would be regular visitors. Highly recommended!

Visited a few years ago for a family birthday and always wanted to come back. We were not disappointed. Lots to select on the menu, it was difficult to pick. When the food arrived it was beautifully presented. The attentive service enhanced our experience and even though there was a mistake with our starters it was expertly dealt with, the real sign of a great restaurant. I cannot recommend Into the Blue enough.

We have been visiting on special occasions for nearly 3 years, requiring a drive of 45 minutes each way. The food is excellent and the service is good. However on our latest visit in early April 2022 we were disappointed with the limited fish choice on the new menu and the lack of seafood main courses on the "specials" blackboard. Although our choices on this occasion of Atlantic Cod Loin and Halibut were delicious, we were sad that dishes such as the original sharing seafood platter and fish pie were missing. When we first found this restaurant we considered that it was a hidden "gem" for seafood lovers. It now appears that the business has had to widen it's appeal to diners at the expense of it's original niche market. A specialist seafood establishment has now become an ordinary but still excellent restaurant.

Another wonderful meal at my favourite restaurant. Regular changes to the menu mean there is always something new to tempt diners.

My wife and I took a friend on our first return visit since lockdown. The menu was more varied than previously, including meat dishes and an excellent range of fish and seafood. The service was prompt and polite and the food, as always, was of the highest quality. The wine list is reasonably priced with a good choice. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will return. Our guest has already recommended Into the Blue to two friends.

Have eaten here over the years since it first opened. The very high standard remains the same at every visit. Imaginative flavours and nice to share plates. The owners work really hard and it is a pleasure to eat there.
