A lovely quiet place to celebrate my husband's birthday. The meal was very tasty and the service second to none.

Went for Christmas Eve with the family and we were not let down. Great venue and beautiful food. We have eaten in steak restaurants all over the world and this was up there with some of the best. Starters were lovely we had two prawns and one mozzarella. Could have done with a finger bowl with prawns. Mozzarella was amazing. Then we had two fillets and a tomahawk and this was fantastic. The sides of tempura vegetables accompanied the mains perfectly. Service was a little slow in parts and probably needs to be looked at so it does not let them down. Also outdoor signage really needs to be sorted and advertising because we found it on the off chance but people don’t know it is there. I really hope this succeeds as it was lovely and Shrewsbury needs something like this.

Booked to attend Christmas eve 4 adults snd 4 young children, only to be told we had no table booked and they were not serving food. The welcome we received was absolutely appalling and the way we were spoken to was completely disrespectful and unwelcome. 2 women behind the bar were whispering between themselves and I was made to feel like I couldn't take some time to look through my emails to find my booking. We have been many times in the past and have always loved the food , atmosphere and the warm welcome we receive from Kerry and a young red headed girl. Unfortunately we didn't see either of them last night and we were appalled by the way we were spoken to. We shall not be returning .

Nice food, but poor service. After being served our food we weren’t asked if we wanted anything else (drinks / desert) We went to the bar to order coffee, hot chocolate, Bayleys. They didn’t have any hot chocolate or Bayleys and we had to go back to the bar to remind them about the coffee. Very disappointing.

Quiet night, felt rushed to go so they could close up . Food was nice. Coffee machine cleaned and shut down before we finished eating so we couldn’t have hot drinks at the end of the meal

The service from both J the waitress and the bartender was fantastic. The cocktails flowed and never stopped all evening. As they bought one over J took the next order. I would definitely recommend the venue.

The food was average and soup was Luke warm . I didn’t enjoy my dessert lemon posset as berries spoilt it too much . Our friends were not impressed and what spoilt the evening was the noise from the other party . Kids running round and the noise was awful . You should hzve informed us ab the booking .

We booked on a whim after visiting for lunch a few weeks ago and the whole process was very straightforward. On arrival we had the choice of seating and we were offered a good choice of drinks which were brought to us .I ordered the Raven burger with an upgrade to Beef messy fries and my wife had the ‘small ‘ portion of chicken nachos. When the food arrived we were not disappointed! The portions were very generous and well cooked, I do have a healthy appetite but I was nearly beaten. However, we did have just enough room for a sweet! I had the sticky toffee pudding and my wife had the apple crumble. I must admit I did have food envy! But luckily my wife couldn’t finish it! Overall, we were very pleased with our food, the staff were wonderful again.( we must get the lady’s name) and the chef shared his crumble recipe which I thought was ace. We do intend to go back in the new year. Well recommended.

The place is beautiful and interesting and the staff were attentive, welcoming and kind. The food was delicious - I had the dirty breakfast and my wife had French toast. It was £27 for us both to eat and drink in a lovely place with great staff.

Nice menu with everything gluten free which is great as I have coeliac. Good choice of items to choose from and kids loved it. We will visit again!

After many very good meals, this time we were disappointed with our choice. I picked the Pork Belly, after twice seeing that my wife had selected it with a nice layer of crackling, but what I received was not good. The layer of cracking was mushy and raw. I sent it back ,and when it returned , it was just cremated but still as mushy. For our stater we ordered the Dirty Nachos, but the wasn’t a Jalapeño to be seen. We also ordered a side of Slaw, which did not arrive but was on the final bill? On leaving we were given a voucher for selected weekdays in January??? We were there on a Friday. I do hope this is just a blip, as we regularly eat at the Tilley and hope that this can continue.

Food was beautiful. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend and we are looking forward to coming back soon.

Absolutely fantastic food! Amazing that it is all GF, as have a celiac and it was great that he could eat everything! Great service too!
