Where do I start waited 30 mins for drinks on arrival waited 10 mins for 3 more guests had to ask waiting staff for drinks for them another 20 mins food order was taken 40 mins for starters another 40 mins for mains had to ask for more drinks !!!!!! Table was booked at 6 left at 9.45 there was only another 3 ppl on the restaurant Then a bill of £343 pounds for 10 ppl Considering it’s a new restaurant absolutely awful

The food was really tasy, but extremely small portions so not great value for money. Our waitress was lovely. However a different waiter came to the table at 9pm and asked if we'd like anything else, we asked to see a dessert menu only to be told the kitchen was closed. No more to do he then got his mop and bucket and started mopping round us. We won't go back

Fantastic selection of gluten free food which caters for all tastes, not just Mexican, which all tasted amazing. All the family enjoyed the evening, and the Server was very attentive and helpful. A lovely setting in the cellars but we probably chose a quieter night. We'll be back, thank you for a lovely evening!

We go about 4-5 times a year, great everytime. Wait times are usually a little on the long side but the food is delicious so it is not at all an issue! Great location, friendly staff, lovely layout and most importantly great food & drink. I always recommend this place to friends!

We popped along to try out their Thursday Wine and Steak deal (which is definitely worth trying!) They offered a range of different steaks to choose from, paired with a great choice of wines. The steaks were cooked beautifully and the beef dripping chunky chips were very tasty! Though we were so glad we had room for their homemade desserts. The tiramisu came in a little mason style jar, very light and delicious. The brownie was a triple chocolate soft slab of gooey heaven! We were also pleasantly surprised to see limoncello on the menu, so ended the night with a little digestif. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The underground restaurant has a cosy, romantic vibe with low lighting. We will definitely be back and highly recommend. Best steak place in Shropshire!

I booked this after reading good reviews, we were very dissatisfied, the door was open by our table and we would get the smell of sewage every so often. We had a hair in our veg, they changed the veg but didn’t offer to change the rest of our meals even though veg had been on our plates. The staff apologised and were very polite, however by this point we had been put off our food. The roast potato’s tasted reheated and not fresh. I would not return, gutted as really wanted to love this place.

We went for the steak and wine deal (plus naughty pudding...) perfectly cooked good quality steak. Lovely and unique surroundings, staff very attentive and accommodating. Many thanks

We were a party of 6 celebrating a birthday and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Plates all arrived at the same time and service was exceptional. My fillet steak was cooked to perfection and considering everyone wanted different levels of cooking for their steaks, they were all cooked as instructed so we were all happy and enjoyed the meal.

We visited the Tilley Raven on Sunday 31 May for lunch as a party of 14, 8 adults, 4 children and 2 babies. We were very disappointed as we had preordered our meals for the adults and it still took over one hour to get our main courses. When they arrived, the waitress mixed up a gluten free roast with another meal. My daughter in law who is gluten intolerant was given an ordinary roast. The waitress told us it was gluten free when it arrived.Luckily she checked and called the waitress back to change the meal. As I am sure you realise, this can be very dangerous to mix up intolerances. I would recommend a flag system to prevent this mistake from reoccurring. We would have liked a sweet but despite going to the waitress to ask for sweet menu ,they seemed loath to serve us. After waiting a further 45 minutes, we gave up and decided to leave. On paying the bill. , an older lady took payment and reduced the bill slightly in view of the error with the gluten mistake. Assuming she was in charge, I would have expected an apology but none was forthcoming. In conclusion, it appears the Raven is not really set up for larger parties. In fact we had a meal there on Tuesday 26 May for 6 people and had an excellent meal with good service!!

Visited on a Saturday, we had the share platter, and focaccia, focaccia was stale. Lamb rump was delicious as was the Steak rump although I would estimate perhaps only 6oz of each. Beef short rib was disappointing as tough, I would think a longer lower cook would have made it fall off the bone and render the fat. Really small portion of chips to share. Would have liked more for £75! Also we waited a hour for food with the restaurant looking about 3/4 full. Service although adequate wasn’t anything special.

I booked for a small group of us to have a meal and drinks, because I’ve been before and loved the food. Unfortunately, due to numerous large parties it took over an hour for food to come and no one had informed us there would be a delay. We understand it happens but we were starving, no appetisers or even just some nibbles were offered. The food and drinks were great when they came, it was just a little overlooked this time with service and communication.

Lovely atmosphere, steak was delicious. Some allergy information not adhered to by the kitchen meaning that one diner waited a long time for their meal.

We did the bottomless brunch and had a fantastic experience. The service was amazing and really made the whole experience superb. The food was great, the quality and variety of the drinks were excellent for a bottomless brunch. Everything arrived quickly, and the staff were attentive and efficient throughout. Great value for money and we would definitely be back!

Went for the bottomless brunch on a Saturday. Lovely cocktails and food Nice vibe Great service Would recommend.

Lovely pub, staff very friendly and accommodating. I ordered the fish, chips and mushy peas , small plate, and was disappointed as had this twice before and the fish this time was tiny and no crispness to the batter.

Amazing food and service would definitely visit again
