Excellent ribeye steak cooked perfectly my niece had the refreshing non alcoholic cocktails that she enjoyed very much. We finished of with the cheeseboard which again was very nice all served with Excellent service from all staff. Definitely recommend this place and I will be returning in the future thanks again

Very enjoyable food with lots of flavours. The heat was just right and the portion size was perfect. Atmosphere was quite but it was a tuesday night. The only thing we didn't like was the smell coming from the toilets but luckily it came after we'd eaten Service was impeccable

Had a 1.5k tomahawk - majority of the weight was with the bone (should be cut down the the steak IMO) as we were paying per 100g and most of that weight was what we couldnt eat. Prawns were listed as ‘jumbo’ but we got 4 tiny pawns for £14 And the bread was frozen oven bread with 0 flavour / variety. Fried chicken was fabulous though! So were the chips. Staff were attentive but didnt ask how we wanted out £130 steak cooked. It was cooked on a griddle and exterior looked anaemic / slimy had 0 char.

A great vibe, good drinks and good range of food to choose from. Jess was really helpful letting us know what would be more spicy and what combinations to order. Really good as we had a GF vegan and she actually had choice for what she could eat!

Both the food and the setting was nice and pleasant. Service was slow and needs improvement, waited too long for our drinks to arrive and the bill - it’s not a big restaurant with many covers and therefore don’t feel this is an excuse for the slow service.

Food and service was amazing, cocktails great!! Would recommend.

The monkfish starter was incredible; steak was “fine” (not exemplary) but the vibe of the evening was good.

What a wonderful addition to Shrewsbury! I took my partner here this week for his birthday, and it did not disappoint. The steak was cooked to perfection and utterly delicious. The service was great, and we weren't at all rushed in any way. We will be returning!

Lovely food and great service

We visited for our first time last Saturday. What a lovely place and very friendly staff. Great atmosphere , with quality food at a reasonable price. Fully enjoyed everything

We had another excellent meal at Ribeye on Saturday evening. It was quite busy however the staff were very attentive and friendly throughout the evening.

Disappointing. Food very average, chips so greasy the oil was in a pool at the bottom of the dish, meat bland. No atmosphere at all and very cold. Toilets filthy despite just opening for lunch. Shame as we were looking forward to this for ages, the food looked nothing like on the social media pages

The restaurant is in a lovely setting and decor is cute for light bites and cocktails. The service was incredibly slow though and it wasn't during a busy period so no excuses really. Food was average and lukewarm. The messy fries were a disappointment and definitely not worth the money that we paid for them. Cocktails were lovely. Very underwhelmed by the experience.

We had a great evening last night with friends at Rib eye. The food for all 4 of us was absolutely stunning, the quality ,tenderness and taste of all Steaks was up there with some of our best Steaks. Service with very friendly staff was lovely. Good to chat with the owner afterwards. We will definitely be back, all the best with the business Great to have an independent Steak Restaurant in Shrewsbury.

OMG the food, the service was second to none the atmosphere, music was perfect. Me, my husband and daughter have been waiting forever for a steak place to open in shrewsbury and this is perfect. Thank you for being so attentive we will return.

First visit Jan 25 2026 to mark our son's 18th, his chose. I'd been the restaurant before in it's previous guises and was pleased to see the unique atmosphere created by the room still remains. A warm welcome and a excellent advice from our server on what cut was what, so we opted for a Cote de Bouef, medium rare which was cooked to perfection and left the 4 of us more than substantiated. Excellent starters as well. We highly recommend.

Food was excellent perfectly cooked really well seasoned and presented. Service was excellent. Didn't have to wait for anything everyone was warm and friendly. Will definitely return

Fantastic cozy and quirky restaurant! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, and fantastic food! Absolutely beautiful venison and black pudding scotch egg, and smoked mackerel starters. Then two beautiful steaks, a serlion and a ribeye. Both cooked to perfection and so soft and tender, really good quality meat. Accompanied by a gorgeous bottle of rose, recommended by them, and was just perfect. No room for desserts this time but we will definitely be back! Very much recommended, without any hesitation.
