Absolutely beautiful Sunday Lunch chicken cooked to perfection. Vegetables hot. Gravy amazing. Excellent service can't praise it enough highly recommend

The food is always good here, but it wasn't tonight ! The service was very good, as usual, but the lobster salad was very disappointing this time. Unlike the last time that I had it here, this was virtually tasteless, and it came in a puddle that I needed to mop up.

Another great visit - this place never disappoints. Warm welcoming staff, tasty well presented food and excellent value. The new Autumn special menu is well thought out and is cosy comfort food at its best. Highly recommend the chicken casserole.

Fab place. Lovely warm welcome with all their friendly staff. Food is delicious all home cooked. Large portions of everything. Great place to eat. Always book your table revise they’re extremely popular. Wouldn’t eat anywhere else when we’re visiting South Shields. Never disappointing.

Due to a change of weekend plans from a trip to the horse racing in a wet Sedgefield, we booked for Sunday dinner at the Harbour Lights. As normal it was extremely busy even though it was only 12.30pm. My husband tried the Featherblade for the first time and I chose the same. He was so impressed, tasty, easy to eat, quality and quantity. All the veg to go with it and gravy boat. Staff were excellent as always.

What a wonderful place! Such lovely friendly staff who always welcome you with a smile. The food is 1st class… huge breakfast menu with portions to match! Lunch menu is great with locally sourced food and specials on offer too. I haven’t tried the Sunday lunches…yet…but they sound great. I’m looking forward to the Christmas dinner.

Excellent meal and service!

My jacket potato tasted dreadful I only ate the filling, my husband enjoyed his meal. Nobody came to ask if food was ok. I normally like it here but was disappointed

Can’t fault this place at all. Lovely fresh food. Huge size portions and just a lovely place. Need a sleep after you have eaten here as you get so much.

Thoroughly enjoyed the meal last Friday evening. It was very reasonable for the price and the staff were very attentive

Great food . Had a chicken parmo which was delicious. Partner had mince and dumplings , really nice .
