Very impressed with our meals we had all satisfied with portion size and quality. We had friends from Scotland and enjoyed every minute. Thank you to all staff and good Luck to the future.

Regularly use the Harbour Lights for meals and have never been disappointed. Meals are superb and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Monday night is 2 meals for £20 which is exceptional value. Would thoroughly recommend you try out this establishment. You will not be disappointed.

Spent a lovely evening celebrating our 49 th wedding anniversary recently. We are newbies to the area but the Harbour Lights came very well recommended.Rightly so. We had fresh lobster for the first time served on a bed of salad. Although delicious it was too much for us both ! I was amazed at the variety of choices on the menu and will definitely be back. A very friendly local pub with an excellent chef!

The food was excellent, all home cooked and beautifully presented. Home made chips are the best!!! We were a table of 7 people and everyone thoroughly enjoyed there meal. We will definitely be returning. All the staff are friendly and welcoming.

Another attempt to eat with you, failed. We phoned, no answer, looked up your times, came to your door, with the lovely notice telling us you are open on Wednesdays 4.30-9.30, but closed. No explanation. It is beyond frustrating to stand outside a closed restaurant which states it is open. Very disappointed.

Good food and a great atmosphere

Returned for the second time in a week. Booked for the steak night. Steaks were outstanding! My bus and I had T-bone steaks with all the trimmings and a side of onion rings. The steaks were beautifully cooked and not over seasoned ( some places over salt steak). The meat was full of flavour and not tough at all. All accompaniments were excellent. We also had dessert, my husband loved the chocolate cheesecake and I loved the brownie, although I couldn’t finish it. I was ambitious ordering it after the steak. Staff were amazing as always and prices were very reasonable indeed for restaurant quality food. We will be visiting regularly.

The staff are very attentive and friendly. The main menu is very comprehensive and the vegetarian/vegan menu is also comprehensive. Portions are generous and sensibly priced.

Easy booking process, lovely location, friendly staff, quick service and a good range of choice on the menu. Food portions are generous and presentation is great. Will be back!

Had a fantastic meal at the Harbour Lights with my husband on Bank Holiday Monday. We booked for 6pm ( food is served until 8pm). It was very hot and staff were very attentive which must have been challenging in such heat. To start my hubby had a Korean chicken. I tasted a bit and it was tender and beautifully cooked. The glaze was sticky and caramelised with a sett and sour type flavour. It was delicious and served with salad garninsh, a very generous portion. I did not have a starter as I was having a T-bone steak for my main. Simon had fish and chips. The fish was lovely and soft, easily flaking and moist, not overcooked. The batter was light and crisp and not greasy at all. The steak was one of the best I have ever had. I love steak and have eaten in some top steakhouses, however, this would have been a great offering in a specialist steakhouse! The meat had an excellent flavour and was very tender. It was cooked medium-rare; beautifully rendered and caramelised on the outside and pink and juicy indeed. It easily came off the bone and was very tender, barely needing a steak knife. Unbelievably, it was on offer for £20! Service was excellent and the bill, including six drinks, one starter and two mains came to around £60. Outstanding!

Went with 2 friends, 2 of us had salmon with herby baby potatoes and green beans and 1 had the cod with potatoes and veg. The meals were a good size portion, well cooked, tasty and good value for money. There is a lovely atmosphere in the pub and the staff very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended

We had a lovely Sunday lunch at The Harbour Lights . Their belly pork is cooked to perfection. The veg is plentiful would highly recommended. The whole meal was excellent value

Food excellent, mince & dumplings just like Mum used to make! Staff very helpful & friendly provided excellent & professional service, the portions & prices were superb, wouldn't hesitate in recommending the Harbour Lights.
