We love this place for the delicious and great value food and the wonderful service. We had the lobster starters with Sunday roast main which was excellent as always with plenty for all. Always a delightful experience.

I had the roast dinner and the mashed potato rivalled my late great aunt Doris' legendary mashed potato. My sister in law found the homemade chicken pie delicious. My brother loved the fish and chips. We will be returning. Thank you.

Harbour Lights – South ShieldsJust spent a weekend in South Shields with friends and booked the Harbour Lights for an evening meal for 10 people. The food was absolutely amazing and superb value for money. In fact it was that good we booked the following evening as well. I had the mince beef and dumplings the first evening and the chicken kiev with homemade chips the following evening and would recommend both of these meals. They were tasty and the portion sizes were big. The bar staff were very friendly and helpful too. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere to eat. We will definitely be back.

This is thought very considerate of the young lady..We placed our order and the waitress came to ask if I wanted my omelette seasoned, I said no . Again it was,considerate. Both our meals were,excellent, piping hot and tasty. How hubby ate is,I don't know, it was,a huge amount. We have recommended the Harbour Lights to several friends visiting the area and all have given excellent feedback Won't hesitate to visit again ( the chips are to die for )

The lasagne was really nice The drinks weren't badly priced and the atmosphere is nice and relaxed. I definitely would recommend and I will be back
