Went for Sunday lunch 17th Nov with family and have to say best we have all had for a long time . Service impeccable even though it was extremely busy from arriving to leaving. Definitely go again and thoroughly recommend

Met a friend here for lunch . We had not seen each other for nearly 20 years . I booked a window table in advance . What a lovely place it turned out to be . Lovely service , nice staff on the bar . A good choice of drinks for us . Food quality was very nice . We thoroughly enjoyed our first time there . It was lovely and warm inside . Thank you

Have been for several meals at the Harbour Lights and every time the food is excellent. Large portions and tasty. The staff are exceptional and extremely friendly always making sure you are satisfied with the service and food. Will definitely be back…….pretty soon.

We had a great time, the staff are really friendly and attentive we didn't wait very long for the food and when it arrived it was fantastic cooked exactly the way we ordered it and it's really reasonably priced I will definitely be going again

Lovely lunch as usual

Great value and choice for gluten free, service from staff was exceptional, Sunday lunch was delicious, lovely tender beef and seasonal veg. Gluten free gravy and yorkshires also. Even a delicious chocolate fudge brownie for dessert. We will definitely be paying another visit to check out their midweek menu.

Great atmosphere, great food always consistent.

First visit under the new management. Wonderful friendly atmosphere. The quality (and quantity) of the food was excellent. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we booked immediately for the following week.

One of the only South Shields bars to serve delicious home made food, generous portions,great value for money. Plenty of choice. Staff are really friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be returning.

went for breakfast this past saturday and to pay my balance for christmas day ,we opted for the standard breakfast at £5.95 with a pot of coffee or tea it was absolutely the best pub breakfast we have ever had .the ingredients were top notch ,the service was friendly and quick .nice pub ,if i had one gripe it would be too many dogs in the pub ,there should be a specific part of the pub set aside for dogs ,we are not all dog lovers especially when we are eating ,but are looking forward to returning for christmas dinner or even another breakfast before that

We went for breakfast for my daughters 7th birthday, we were made to feel very welcome as soon as we entered. Staff and customers greeted my daughter and said happy birthday. Breakfast was beautiful and such great portion sizes. I had requested ice cream to make an extra special birthday breakfast which was provided and even complimentary. My parents eat here regularly for meals and love the food. We will definitely be trying more of the menu!

Second visit since September, glorious food once again. Parents night off and wanted to go somewhere to celebrate our wedding anniversary that we knew wouldn’t disappoint. Warm welcome, friendly and helpful staff, even though some large tables we didn’t feel rushed or forgotten about. Can’t wait to come back!

Great atmosphere and the staff very friendly. First class food, great service and will certainly become regulars and highly recommend the Harbour Lights.
