First time visiting and whilst our reservation wasn’t on the list, the fabulous staff found a table for us and our dog. The food was delicious (Fish platter!), the service was outstanding and the surroundings were idyllic. We will certainly be returning in the near future and even looking to stay in the hotel too.

Lovely inside very Roomy with conservatory. Very Friendly & didn't have to wait long for the Food. All Freshly Cooked & came over to ask if everything was okay. The Master Builder – SouthamptonI booked here as I know people who enjoy the Sunday lunch. Unfortunately I cannot add a photo to show how the 2 plates turned up visibly overcooked, which I commented on and was ignored by the waitress. The fish was dried out, batter not edible and chips hard and dry, members of party did not want to complain. The tuna was watery in the ciabatta melt making it unpleasantly soggy, all in all very disappointed. The 2 people were offered a free pudding to make up for paying £15 for an overcooked main.

The Master Builder – Southampton6 of us for Sunday roast on 8th June. Food was amazing, service was great. This was the best roast dinner we've had out for a very long time. The veggies were constantly being brought out, so not sitting, hanging about as they sometimes are in other places. All in all, a great experience and will come again soon. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff.
