Great atmosphere and venue, live music was great. Drinks are a bit expensive with £10.50 for a large glass... But otherwise super tasty roast.

Came here on Sunday for the Roast, was not dissapointed. Roast beef was perfectly cooked and loads of food! Sticky Toffee Pudding was magnificent! It was a plus to have the live music too

Our first time visiting the Master Builder. 3 Adults, Saturday Evening for a meal. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal, every last mouthful! One had Gammon, one had homemade Lasagne and one had the Turkey and Gammon pie - Absolutely delicious! Excellent value for money. Thank you! Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning next time we are in the area!

Had a great meal last night homemade fish pie absolutely delicious and one of my friends had room just! For a pudding that looked amazing and he enjoyed it.As always friendly staff clean cozy atmosphere full marks.

Food was fantastic as usual , the cauliflower cheese is superb I would highly recommend eating here it’s worth every penny

Came on a Sunday to see the live music and weren't disappointed Characterful bar staff,quirky pub,food really good and a chilled atmosphere listening to the music act! Definitely coming again!

Sunday Roast: food was hot, fresh and plenty of it. The choice of meats were great, cauliflower cheese was delicious! The roast potatoes were crispy but fluffy inside. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal, definitely going again and would 100% recommend. Staff: friendly, happy and very welcoming Venue: clean with a great atmosphere Negatives: ate too much roast and couldn’t fit in a delicious dessert so had to take some home with me :-)

I booked a table for 2 at 1pm but upon booking, I was a little concerned that we were only allowed 1 hour...However, when we arrived, we had a table for 4 and actually, we ate our meal within the hour. The really good part of this review is that firstly, the staff were all super friendly and secondly, our carvery roast dinner was wonderful. Plenty of selection from 4 meat joints, to the vegetables to the condiments. The meat was moist and was super tasty. We were not made to feel rushed at all. Thank you The Master Builder for a really lovely Sunday lunch x

Cracking pub grub and excellent Wadworth Ale. We always visit here when travelling to Southampton for the cricket at the Rose Bowl and have always been extremely satisfied with both the food and the real ale. On our arrival the pub was unusually quiet for a BH weekend but was filling quickly as we left. Staff are attentive and we will always go back here whenever in the area
