Not a local to this area, but visited Southport and was told about this jewel. We had the lunch menu and the food was superb. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area, passing or just looking for excellent food. I had the soup and sandwich, and the quality, taste and produce was of a very high standard (excellent in fact), and I didn't need dinner later that day. The rest of my group had different meals but all agreed, we will be back. To add they had a good open fire that was producing a lot of heat close to where we sat

A brilliant meal for me and Maureen and the bonus of seeing a great tribute night with Dan Hadfield. Great service from all the staff. Will ɓe back and can recommend to anybody.

Excellent meal in all respects

Great service- attentive without being intrusive. Food pretty good and at this price was great value.

1 pm lunch. Sat 25th Nov. 4 people. Bar area was very cold. Took ages before we could take our coats off. Food excellent. Choice excellent.

Food is always gorgeous and at a good price. The menu gives lots of tempting, tasty options using locally sourced ingredients. Welcoming and friendly team always look after you. One of my favourite places to eat, highly recommended!

Best meal ever!! Husband had the fillet steak and it melted in you mouth, I had fish n chips was just perfect. Wouldn’t go anywere else and going to book again over Christmas holidays. Staff were so friendly and such a lovely atmosphere , Going to recommend it to all my family and friends.

It was fairly quiet as it was lunchtime but there was still a nice atmosphere. We sat in one of the round booth seats. There was plenty of choice and the food came quickly. It was tasty ad great value. The waiting on staff were polite and attentive.

Chose to eat here as the reviews were so good and we were not disappointed. Food amazing, cocktails amazing and service excellent. Lovely atmosphere and it was spotless. We were in a rush as we were on our way to the theatre but can’t wait to return when we will have more time to enjoy more of the delicious food and drinks!

Me and my boyfriend shared two lots of tacos (mushroom and chicken) and had the dirty fries. We are planning on returning to try the chorizo tacos and pork belly starter! Attentive service and would recommend ☺️

I visited the restaurant with my 2 children. The service was great, staff was smiley and happy. My son is a fussy eater and they swapped some ingredients to accommodate him. The food was tasty, prawns cooked perfectly. I will definitely be going to dine again.
