The Kitchen – SpaldingOrdered a light meal. When it arrived, it was huge. We questioned it, but no response. Started eating and we were then told we had the wrong meals and they were full meals. We were made to feel like it was our fault and felt guilty for starting to eat. Manager and staff just stared at us and made us feel very uncomfortable.
The Kitchen – SpaldingFood was excellent, service great
The Kitchen – SpaldingHad some lunch on 16th July with me mam and dad and everything was superb. Could not fault anything. We have been coming here for years and always exceptional quality. Thanks again.
The Kitchen – Spalding12 of us had just come from Splash at Adventureland very hungry. The Kitchen filled our tummies and the service was excellent. Thank you for looking after us.
The Kitchen – SpaldingCame with a friend, we both had garlic mushrooms on sourdough. It was delicious!
The Kitchen – SpaldingI have visited The Kitchen several times, and have usually had no problem. However having booked a table for 3 people for Sunday 26th June, we were dismayed to be informed that the restaurant had run out of roast meals. This was at 2 pm on Sunday, the rest of the menu for Sundays is very limited, and it seems very odd to have run out of roast dinners on a Sunday. We were very disappointed, in addition the service was very slow and not the usual standard. This has put me off of visiting again .
The Kitchen – SpaldingMyself and my family have been coming here for a few years now and both the quality of food and service is exceptional. The staff are extremely friendly which helps provide a very relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended.
The Kitchen – SpaldingWas disappointed that the main menu was taken off for fatherday and was only a Sunday one that offered no mix grill or stake, we all know that's what dad's like, other then that the service was good and food was nice from the limited menu we had
The Kitchen – SpaldingGood food and service.
The Kitchen – SpaldingGood service and good food. My husband was very pleased with the grain store beer. Will come again.
The Kitchen – SpaldingGood service, nice lunch.
The Kitchen – SpaldingFood was good but not a great vegetarian selection, only burgers. Service was practically non existent as we had to continually go to the bar despite so-called table service. Ok value for money.
The Kitchen – SpaldingWe had the Jubilee afternoon tea and, to be honest, felt it was a little lacking for the price of £35 for two. Two finger sandwiches each with a little salad, half a scotch egg each, a snack sausage roll and snack cheese scone each, half a serving of prawn something and a sour cream dip, plus a miniature trifle, a fruit scone and half a jubilee cupcake each - and this was £17.50 per person. The food was lovely, the staff and atmosphere was lovely, but I feel it was overpriced for what was received x
The Kitchen – SpaldingSmall fish with scampi lovely. Bacon, brie and cranberry sandwich the Belstone I have tasted.
The Kitchen – SpaldingBooked a table at The Kitchen for some work colleagues. The staff were polite and professional, the menu had plenty of choice and the food arrived in good time. Everyone commented how nice it was and we all enjoyed our meals. I've been before and will continue using The Kitchen when I'm at Springfield.
The Kitchen – SpaldingWent on 19th May for a pre booked afternoon tea. Have to say little dissaponted with the very limited selection of savories served only 2 tiny finger breads amount to a round of bread. Good selection of sweets and scone was lovely. Just shame as this was a birthday treat. If I was to i again lesson learned I would order a sandwich and scone separate. Would be cheaper then the 15.99 and more enjoyable..
The Kitchen – SpaldingWe booked a lunch time meal for 2. Service was very good lots of young staff polite and attentive. The food arrived quite quickly, good food grub not much else to say but very nice. Deserts were really delicious and well presented. Just wish they would change up the menu a little more.
