Moghul Tandoori Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaFirst visit with a group of ten people. Excellent service all evening. Menu choice excellent. Food was faultless
The Zen Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaA large group of us went here for my nephew’s 18th and I must say I was impressed. I hadn’t been to The Grand since a wedding some years back and things have changed a great deal. There’s a lovely terrace now out front which is ideal for drinks when the sun is shining (which it was). The staff were very friendly and attentive, especially the young female European maitre d’. The interior has a real modern vibe, good lighting and chill-out tunes. If you’ve been to Pulcinella in Cleveleys it’s kind of similar in terms of the upmarket, metro-style ambience. A good menu choice too with sharing plates. All in all, a breath of fresh air for the local dining scene.
Cafe Grand – Grand Hotel – St. Annes-On-SeaI went to the Zen restaurant last night with my sister, mum and two young nieces. The food was lovely - we had the Chinese banquet, and while the fare was similar to that served in many chinese restaurants, it was presented in a contemporary way which raised it above the ordinary, and all of the food seemed to be freshly cooked and made from quality ingredients. The other thing which raised the meal out of the ordinary was the service. The waiter, Ernest, (not a common Chinese name - I think he was actually Italian!) could not have been more charming, and he made my nieces feel totally at ease, and returned to our table several times just to check that they were enjoying themselves. The decor is very chic, the prices were reasonable, and I would not hesitate to visit again on my next visit to the Blackpool area.
The Zen Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaThe Moghul is our local curry house and how lucky are we! The service is always excellent-very attentive staff. The food is amazing! My favourite dish is chicken keema lazeez which they don't even have on the menu, but make it for me anyway! The sample dish they give you is a great idea and I have discovered many tasty dishes through trying these. I simply will not eat curry from any other Indian restaurant in the area.
Moghul Tandoori Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaWhat a super find for great fish and chips at yesterday’s prices, it was just £6.00 to eat in their cafe for fish, chips and peas, also bread and butter and a mug of tea. I have to say it’s the best chippy I have been to in a long time.
The Haven Fish Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaWell run, with friendly service, excellent food and reasonable prices. Hard to fault.
Antons – St. Annes-On-SeaA fantastic restaurant, serving high quality food, good portions with plenty of choice. The staff were extremely polite with the manager being very attentive. Would highly recommend this restaurant and will certainly be going back when in St Annes
Moghul Tandoori Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaI've been a fan of Indian food for 35yrs and eaten it in many countries. I was one of the first customers in The Moghul when it first opened in 1988 and it was good then. On my most recent visit last Thursday evening I wasn't disappointed- Danny has introduced may new dishes-It was evident that this restaurant has taken Indian food to the next level. Many Indian restaurants use the same sauce for all the dishes- the end result is that everything tastes vaguely the same. We had 2 main courses & sample dish and every sauce was different and clearly made individually-the quality of the ingredients and use of fresh spices was evident. I can honestly say that this was one of the best, if not the best Indian meal I have ever eaten. The restaurant is modern and clean- gone is the flock wall paper and booths ( though i must admit to liking the booths!) Prices were very reasonable given the quality and attention to detail. In my opinion the Moghul is a cut above the majority of Indians out there who are still serving the same old madras and vindaloo out of the same pot-10 out of 10!
Moghul Tandoori Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaAte there on the 14th October. Excellent food and Service. Will definitely go back when in the area.
Moghul Tandoori Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaThe only place to enjoy Indian food in St. Annes-on-Sea. Fantastic service, attentive and friendly without being imposing and always exceptional and generous cuisine. Not the cheapest Indian Restaurant around but great value none the less. I always visit when business takes me to the area.
Moghul Tandoori Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaVery nice food and atmosphere-couldn't fault it. We had the Chinese banquet & drinks, it was only when I got home I realised we had been overcharged by a total of £12. My own fault for not checking bill properly in restaurant!
The Zen Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaMr Waiter - chewing gum while serving is a no-no.
