My girlfriend took us to Gemma's for my birthday and it was wonderful. We went on a Sunday night and the staff were very welcoming when we went in, they were very polite and never rushed us. The meal was excellent and there was plenty of choice for my girlfriend who's a vegetarian. We had the 9.95 special offer but neither of us drink coffee or tea, so instead they brought us out brandy instead. The cost of the meal, the service we received, I would have to rate this as one of the best restaurants i have been to. To top it all they gave my girlfriend a carnation at the end of the meal. will definitely be visiting Gemmas again.

We ate the Moghul last night 25th June, we have eaten there a couple of times this year after being recommended by a passer by who had just eaten there. The food is absolutely beautiful, the staff and especially the manager go out of their way to accommodate you, and the prices are reasonable too, we will be visiting again soon.

I was recently in St. Annes -on- Sea with my family on Holiday and pop into Moghul for a meal. The restaurant was very clean and modern, the staff were friendly without being overbearing. The food was excellent probably the best curry I have ever tasted not at all bland but very tasty and spiced to perfection.

every 6 months I stay overnight in Blackpool. My treat is a meal at Moghul. I have visited forty times now in twenty years, as a travelling sales manager I visit several Indian restaurants per week. Ahead at the Moghul is the best restaurant that I have ever been to, as my colleagues agree. The food is out of this world and the service fantastic. What amazes me is the value for money. I have been to many Indian restaurants around the north west and can easily say that the quality & service of the Moghul was excellent. My partner & I travelled over from Bolton on Saturday evening, as he hadn’t been to your restaurant for many years. Thank you for such a wonderful meal. I would love to have the recipe for the lamb zaflong, it was mouthwatering. We’ll certainly be returning for more of your hospitality and excellent food. Thank you again

I first started to visit the Moghul 12 months ago on an initial business trip to Blackpool i now try and return every time i am in the local area. Ali and his team have always made me and my colleagues very welcome and the menu never disappoints. The range and quality of dishes is absolutely first class and includes traditional favourites alongside dishes I have never seen before that are truly exceptional. this restaurant provides excellent high quality Indian food at a very reasonable price

Had my first visit to the Moghul this week (9th June) after lots of positive noises from my colleagues. I don't eat a lot of spicy food due to dietary issues so tend to avoid 'eastern' food. However the Moghul has a very well presented menu with plenty of helpful details about the many different dishes. This helped me choose a suitable meal. Crispy chicken rolls as a starter, excellently presented and very tasty. Manpassand Chicken (never heard of this before) with mushroom bhajee, rice and naturally naan. An excellent meal!

i have been to the restaurant many times and the service is always excellent and all the staff are very friendly. I have had many of the dishes and never been disappointed. The dishes are always tasty, well cooked and you can make modifications to the dishes to suit your tastes. Would Definitely recommend to all.

I have been to the moghul many times in the period april 2009 to present. On average my work colleagues and i eat there once every two to three weeks. The restaurant is simply the best indian experience in the region. The food quality is excellent, the service is always prompt and the owner always makes us feel welcome. Highly recommended!

My wife and I enjoyed a very pleasant meal at the Moghul restaurant on Saturday June 19th 2010. The atmosphere was very relaxed. The place itself was very well laid out. The service was courteous and we were attended to very quickly. The food was first rate; with my prawn dish i could taste the specific ingredients, which produced an excellent sensation. If you enjoy great food then I would highly recommend this restaurant. We will certainly be returning in the future.

My boyfriend and I go here every week. Simply the best fish and chips on the Fylde Coast! Massive portions so only order a large fish if you haven't eaten for a week!!! Staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Child friendly too. You wont be disappointed

We visit The Moghul or its sister restaurant, The Red Fort, regularly and the food is always very tasty and service pretty good too! I particularly recommend the balti exotica, an excellent dish, and they're always happy to spice it up by adding a few fresh green chillis ;-)

completely by chance we came across this little gem, What a wonderful evening we had the setting the staff & the food all fantastic. For a Tuesday evening it was busy. Never at any point the Olive Tree & staff disappoint, Thank you

Really good, fresh Fish & Chips here and a lovely little dining room at the back if you want to sit down with bread,butter and tea etc. We are not local but will be back.

Good food is all I can say .But there are plenty other restaurants in the area that also serve that. The service was VERY poor. There was no obvious front of house. We arrived ON time. Had drinks and menus delivered and the service ended there. We sat with menus for 20 mins before and order was taken. No complimentary bread as stated on the menu. It was another 25 before our starters arrived. We sat with empty plates for 15 mins and then finally managed to get the attention of a member of staff to clear them. It was a further 25 mins before our maincourse was served. Not once did anyone ask us if everything was okay. We paid our bill and asked to speak to the person in charge. She had nothing to say other than that they were busy!!!!. So I ask the question Why did they take my bookings if they couldn't cope?. So beware if you are table of two on a busy night do not expect too much as they obviously work on the financial principal that the larger tables bring in more revenue. We paid £85 for a meal for two and came away very disappointed and deflated.

Jacks Seaside Gem !! A restaurant front that screams seaside caff...yet the intimate internal setting is refreshing despite the horrendous high peak LCD screen dominating Everest proportions in the centre of the room. Amiable and accommodating, the staff seek approval not only of their clientele but also and most importantly their fare. The food is interesting with enough local produce fused into the menu to seek the diners delight. A place to take your 'Jill' when honest intimacy and squaring is required !!
