We were very happy to be able to visit The Vine again and we were not disappointed. Lovely hot food & attentive service without being over the top or feeling rushed. Can't wait to visit again.

Visited The Vine on the 22nd May just out of lockdown. The service was excellent, the pub and restaurant felt very safe , the Covid rules were in place but the atmosphere was lovely, with crisp clean table clothes changed after every sitting. The food was gorgeous and there was plenty of it. It was hot well cooked and served by lovely friendly staff. I had the soup which was homemade and very tasty and the chilli king prawns with orange. It was amazing, hubby had the sausage's with mustard mash and red cabbage, followed by the fruit crumble. Again it was amazing and very tasty. Cant wait to visit again.

Lovely friendly staff who were very attentive in a covid safe environment. Couldn't fault the food, the chips were the best I'd had for a long time, not oily at all.

Fantastic pub with proper freshly made food which addresses the point below of slow service. Better a little slow and fresh and cooked properly than a reheated hotchpotch. Excellent staff, great food and a good price too. Lovely atmosphere inside as we went for our first after lockdown meal. Already rebooked and so looking forward to the next time.

Booked a table for my son and I for his birthday, definitely a good choice. The staff are so lovely and the food is wonderful. Definitely recommend a visit.

Our visit was a Friday lunchtime while pubs were only allowed to serve customers outdoors. This meant that the pub was only offering a limited "garden" menu of snack type food. We all had a venison burger, which was nice, but the service was extremely slow. I have been to the Vine Inn before and enjoyed having lunch with a friend in their dining room, but that was a couple of years back.

Great pub, excellent food, hard working staff. Can't wait to visit again.

Lovely meal with my family sitting by the stream, beautiful location, if I was to give a negative maybe a few nice plants could be planted on the banks of the stream and a dog poo bag was in the stream.

Delicious food. Attentive service. Very accommodating with 2 young children. Smaller portions of adult meals available. Great for the children to enjoy "proper" food.

We visited for my wife’s birthday and selected food from the specials board. You don’t get partridge on many menus for sure. In these troubled times we were impressed with the service, food and the attention to detail. Keep it up .

Wonderful visit on the 12/12/2020. So pleased we got to experience this lovely place, the food is utterly delicious. The staff are so polite and working so hard in these difficult times to ensure the experience is pleasurable. Lovely atmosphere and made to feel so welcome. Will definitely be back!
