We have eaten here at other times and been very pleased so for our wedding anniversary we decided to book again. Unfortunately, this time, we were very disappointed. Firstly we were rushed through to our table. This was under the stairs and felt very cramped. None of the staff were very pleasant, and we felt we were more of an inconvenience than paying guests. We enjoyed the food, when it arrived, but not the whole evening.

Although a busy time for the staff, never had to wait when called on for any requests. Well recommended and we’ll be back.

I booked online, really easy to do, waitress was very welcoming and we chose where to sit - ordered drinks and looked at the menu. So many lovely choices - I chose prawn and Avocado, Rob had pasta Ragu. For mains we had penne Gino with king prawns, and monkfish Both dishes were delicious!! Gino was very friendly and we chatted …. A lot !! Italy, wine, Harborne and so much more. Unfortunately we didn’t get the waitresses name, but she was an absolute superstar, a real asset to the restaurant. So nice to have authentic Italian food in the area We will be back for sure

Everyone’s food was excellent Unfortunately there was no 00beer as I was driving Apparently Italian restaurants don’t do it I was overcharged £30 on my food bill which luckily my daughter spotted And I think £10 on my drinks which we didn’t mention as had enough Shame really spoilt the lovely day
Da Gino – Sutton ColdfieldFabulous anniversary meal. Service was excellent (Helena) . Starters of avocado and prawns and Scallops with asparagus were delicious. Entrees of Filleto Al Pepe was to die for. The steak was cooked to perfection and just fell apart with a fantastic cream and peppercorn sauce. The wine choice was comprehensive albeit a little pricey. Loads of dish of the day specials to choose from as well as the standard menu. No hesitation in recommending this restaurant but don’t tell too many people!

Da Gino – Sutton ColdfieldIntroduced by a friend for a catch up lunch. A real hidden gem. Restaurant was warm and spacious and the service attentive. The food was excellent, piping hot and really tasty. Liked the no nonsense lunch menu which still had plenty of choice.
