We got off to a bad start when we told as we arrived that we couldn't sit inside as we hadn't said on our online booking that we were bringing a dog and there were no dog safe tables available. Nowhere on the online booking did it indicate that we should state that we were bringing a dog and we haven't had to do that before when booking. We live in Beckbury and we have been taking our dog there for years including just a few weeks ago and there was no issue about the dog at all then. Even more upsetting was the fact that the young lady who greeted us stated several times that the venue has always had a dog safe table policy (the meaning of which we still have no idea) since Craft and Jam took over the pub. This is blatantly untrue! We were also very disappointed by the number of items that were unavailable on the menu. leaving a quite narrow choice. We were given no explanation for this. There has been a marked deterioration in the quality of food and service over the last 12 months sadly.

Disappointing food and service. Our table was booked for 5:30pm on a Saturday night and when we arrived we were told that there were no steaks and the one vegetarian meal on the menu wasn’t available, we had to chase our meals, desserts and bill and the meat was tough. When I raised concerns as we paid our bill, we were told they were short staffed - I’m not sure how the 2 girls found time to finish their private chat and twiddle with their hair if this was the case. And apparently, they don’t really cater for vegetarians because it’s a smoke house!

Absolutely amazing food. The Texas brisket was gorgeous. Only downside was about 40 minute wait for food even on a quiet afternoon and my mum asked for steak medium rare but got it medium to well done. However this didn’t spoil Our enjoyment of the food

It was not to bad …wouldn’t return as load of other places to try

The food was absolutely beautiful a great service, lovely atmosphere and we would definitely go back . I have a 2 year old and the staff were very friendly and the children’s menu was very appetising

Wonderful meal

The location is very rural and the road in is tricky but well worth the journey, I struggled to get into a parking space due to the car park being very narrow and my car being quite long but once parked and inside myself and gf were very impressed, seating is well spaced, the decor was quaint and the staff were very polite and efficient with their jobs, the only thing that could make the place any better was the food and it did, rump steak cooked to perfection with the usual trimmings and “ messy fries “ ( which were new to me ) I opted for the pulled pork ones and found that they were a really tasty addition to the meal, I definitely recommend this venue to anyone who’s looking for a quiet, private and enjoyable meal out

Had the Pitmaster sharing platter and it was perfection. My son and I couldn’t believe our eyes with the amount of food we had and every part of the meal was awesome, the variety of meats is amazing and each is cooked and tasted outstanding , the sides that come perfectly compliment it and upgrading to pulled pork fries is also a must, whilst the food blew us away so did the staff and their fantastic customer service, , all in all totally recommended.

My daughter and I have visited ZiZi's twice now and have enjoyed it on both occasions. The menu has a lot of choice. We had pizza which was delicious. The staff were attentive and helpful. The food was value for money and it was an enjoyable experience. We will definitely visit again. Thank you

Been here twice now when visiting relatives. The food is excellent, really tasty and good presentation. They do several dishes and the waiters are really friendly and have an excellent knowledge of the dishes and ingredients. The prices are very reasonable and the food is suberb. They also do a take away service. I look forward to visiting again, it is now one of my favourite places.

Visiting the area, we fancied Chinese and chose this place at random from yellow pages. On arriving we were surprised to find the place empty on a Friday night and nearly never went in. But I am so pleased we did, the meal was delicious, the prices reasonable and the service attentive but not 'in your face'. The chicken satay was the best I have ever tasted.

I've been here a few times and still exceeds my expectations the food is great the staff are friendly and the atmosphere was great i even got a few free shots from the bar, all - round great experience and will be going back again soon

Fantastic Food, best burger I've had in England can only compare to ones in the US they are massive! Great music, decor is excellent and girls in uniform looked a good touch. Will defo be going again with the family.

I visited Oscar's and was really pleased with the food. I tried their spicy veggie burger and was not disappointed, just the right enough of spice, not burning the tongue and the bun was actually nice and fluffy, not like other places I have eaten in. The staff were polite and the whole experience was enjoyed. I will be going back again and suggesting friends visit. Shar , Telford

This has recently been taken under new management and is now called the Atlantis Fish bar, didn't think much to it's old owners, but now it's quite good service and Okay food. Nothing spectacular, but good, quick food none the less.
