Great service plenty of food Sunday dinner was lovely.

Nice old pub, we were made welcome in the bar along with our dog. Plenty meat options on the menu but limited vegetarian options. The fennel Al Forno sounded a little different and it was but unfortunately a little too salty and quite a small portion, it didn't fill me up and I don't have a big appetite. I'm not too sure the desert price on the menu matched the price on the bill. My partner was reasonably happy with his Sunday roast dinner and I'm sure we will visit again, we love old pubs like the Shepherds Rest and like to do our bit to keep them going.

I’ve been here before but my partner hasn’t. I booked a table and we had such a lovely time. We were in the bar area but I didn’t request / mention a window seat in the booking. However, it was an absolutely lovely experience. The staff and food were lovely and the staff were very attentive. We will be going back.

We came for a family outing on Friday, lots of people from all over and had a wonderful time! Staff welcomed us warmly, dogs got treats and lots of attention and the food was amazing. We tried a few dishes, but our favourites; the burger board, wow, sausage & mash we can’t stop thinking about and the salt & pepper surf & turf!!! We will return x

Brilliant Sunday lunch! Visited with friends. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The Sunday lunch was excellent - really tasty fresh produce and good portion sizes. Small wait for food but to be expected if you want everything fresh and worth the wait.

Great meal once again, fantastic staff, great atmosphere and good value for money. Just one negative and this will not be popular, I wish you (and all other restaurants) would not allow dogs in. On Sunday evening there was a large dog wandering around the tables , not what you want when you are eating. Nevertheless we will be back soon.

We went on the emmerdale tour and called here on our way home. We had an excellent 2 course meal, my partner said it was the best Sunday roast he had had in a long time. The staff were very polite and attentive. I would definitely recommend eating here

The SITE team took great care of us as a party celebrating our son's 14th birthday - flexible, prompt and efficient service, the cake and lit candles arriving as arranged.

Food was excellent, but service a little slow. Unfortunately the prices mean that we won't be able to eat here regularly only on special occasions.

Excellent food, service, and atmosphere

Lovely local pizzeria serving ultra fresh pizza, pasta and salad with lots of vegan options. Friendly young staff. Great atmosphere and not over priced. Keep it up guys!! :)

Amazing food, lovely welcoming staff, efficient with really good customer service .we had the Yorkie board which we highly recommend. My little boy loved the play area too. We will Def be back.

Great food, nothing was too much trouble and the timing of courses was just right. My wife asked for a well-done pizza base and it was a little over-done, so they cooked her another. Music background was varied and pleasant, lighting spot on. The new double-rum cocktail topped with nutmeg was delicious!
