Lovely, cosy, traditional pub with good service and really good food.

The Plough never disappoints, we had a delicious Sunday lunch in the beautiful garden. We would always recommend The Plough to anyone looking for a beautiful, cozy and welcoming country pub.

We returned for our anniversary meal. The food we had was very good. The chips are sooo good!! I would have liked more choice on the menu. Staff are lovely. There was no atmosphere as it was not very busy on Friday eve. A bit of background music would be good.

One of the best Sunday roasts I’ve had in a pub. Both courses we had were absolutely superb and the pub itself has a warm and friendly atmosphere- very traditional.

Excellent food - the fish and chips were amazing and everyone enjoyed their food. Good service and lovely ambiance.

We were a party of five and enjoyed our lunch on Wed 13 September. There were two vegetarian guests and both had a choice on the menu. We enjoyed the food and the staff were friendly and attentive. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Definitely go again and recommend The Plough to others.

We had a wonderful time at the Plough on Sunday; there were four in our party; three of us ordered roast pork, lamb and beef and the other had the plough burger Everybodys food was cooked to perfection, my husband said it was the best lamb he’s ever eaten, the root vegetables were delicious It was very good value for money, so much so, we unfortunately didn’t have room for dessert! The staff were very attentive, although it was quiet as we arrived just as food was beginning to be served (12pm) Will definitely be dining again soon

We came for dinner on Wednesday as a party of 6. Staff were excellent and attentive, Darren behind the bar was so funny and kept us entertained throughout the evening. Food was incredible. It was a lovely evening.

We were a party of 3 with a well behaved dog! 1 member of the party is older and blind. Before and during our visit Darren and all the staff did their very best to make our visit as easy and accessible as possible. Their customer service could not be faulted and it seemed very natural not forced, they genuinely seemed to be enjoying what they were doing which is quite a rarity!! We loved The Plough - parking is easy and plentiful. Staff were (as mentioned) friendly, obliging and efficient whilst maintaining a very relaxed ambience. The menu is refreshingly slightly different to the usual local options! The food was lovely and very generous portions. I feel we have found a gem to be re-visited

A very enjoyable lunch on a Friday . Friendly and efficient service and tasty mains and desserts. Lovely garden and plenty of parking. What’s not to like?!

We came for a wedding viewing on Sunday and after we stayed for the best roast dinner I have ever had! The food was incredible and so were the staff and atmosphere. I have coeliac disease and the staff accommodated my dietary requirements. It was great to see there was lots of choice on the menu.

Eleven of us had Sunday Lunch on a very busy day. The service was good and staff friendly. The food was excellent. A great traditional pub with a lovely atmosphere, a large garden and childrens play area.
