What a great place brilliant staff and lovely food, can not fault the team at all. I recommend the Plough and Barn to everyone.

Visited on Sunday 18th August 2024 for lunch. Excellent service, we were even taken to another table which was quieter and more intimate. The roast was delicious...not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. My Wife had the beef and I went for pork (the crackling was spot on)! Couldn't manage a dessert as we were stuffed! A pint of Coppernob washed it down perfectly. Then a coffee in the garden in the sunshine. Certainly recommended!

We had a delightful meal here for a special birthday. The garden was beautiful, the service fantastic and the food was delicious and very reasonably priced.

The Plough is a lovely quaint pub in the heart of the countryside near Tonbridge. Dog friendly and welcoming. We swung by for an early evening supper in their beautiful garden. Food great, service too.

Excellent food and very friendly staff . Plenty on offer for beers & wines . Very busy so you must book.

We had our wedding here last year and we return for our 1st years anniversary and we are as impressed this time just as much as we was for our wedding day the staff go above and beyond. The welcome was amazing as the staff remembered us and was fantastic. Even going above and beyond is giving us a complimentary bottle of bubbles, and when bringing our afters out they had written a in chocolate on the plate saying happy anniversary. The staff mad our 1st wedding anniversary as special as our wedding day. I really can’t stress how good everybody who work here are fantastic at all times. This will be our place to go to for life.

We had a lovely afternoon at the Plough! Food was tasty although a little confusing with the menu online different to the one on the day and of course what some people had in mind was no longer on the menu. Would have been lovely to have more options of fresh summer meals/ salads/ seasonal veg for the hotter days. The staff made our afternoon and we loved the outdoor garden area. Some music outside would have give a bit more atmosphere

We booked a table for lunch with friends, our first visit on a Sunday. 3 of our group are coeliac and we were delighted about the care and thought that has gone into the menu, catering for gluten free diners! We appreciated it so much we felt compelled to try all 3 courses, something we can rarely do in restaurants beyond the standard 'prawn cocktail' or ice cream options. The food was delicious, the real food for smaller appetites (children) option was also brilliant, not least the gf sticky toffee pudding! Staff were very helpful and the cosy pub and beautiful gardens were just what we hoped for. Thank you to all at the Plough, we'll be back!

We had a lovely meal (Sunday lunch). The vegetables with the lovely roast beef were exceptional. Staff were really helpful and attentive. We will definitely be going back and will recommend to our friends.

Passed the burger and fish and chips test. Crispy batter cooked right through. Quality meat in the burger. Chips on a par with winner of my Chips of Kent and Surrey award 2023. Friendly staff. Will return.

Stunning country pub, amazing food at reasonable prices, and amazing service !

Visited the Plough in September 2023 for a few evenings in a row....loved the ambiance, the wonderful staff, Angela, Darren and Meghan, and the very good food and sublime wines from New Zealand. We promissed to come back. So we did last Sunday, 12th of May 2024. And again it was absolutelt flawless! Although Darren had a day off, Angela and Meghan showed how perfect they serve the guests. It was again a delight and the food once again delicious. Will we be back from The Netherlands to come over to The Plough? We certainly will return! Thanks Angela and Meghan, the chefs and all the staff of The Plough. They made us feel at home away from home.

We attended for lunch as a group of 10 people on a sunny Saturday, managed to find seating in the garden easily. Kids all loved running around and playing in the playground. Food all arrived in good time and was piping hot and absolutely delicious. I would not hesitate to recommend the plough to anyone - keep up the good work guys
