Popped in for lunch midweek. Staff were so friendly and service was fantastic. The menu had a good range of options to suit everyone with a good range of veggie options and lighter bites as well. The pricing was reasonable and the portions were generous. We all really enjoyed the food and look forward to returning in the future.

Had a fabulous lunch on Bank Holiday Monday with family, staff were excellent, friendly and attentive and the food was delicious with a great varied menu and reasonably priced. Will definitely be back

We went to the Plough in Leigh for Sunday lunch and it was delightful. The service was superb and the food fantastic. We both had a beef roast. The quality of the meat and veg was great and so was the size of the portions. They are also dog friendly and got us water for the dogs. We will definitely be back.

We booked for a birthday celebration for my wife. A party of 8 including two young grandsons. Nothing was too much trouble, and the food was excellent. Small changes to the food were catered for without issue, we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the birthday cake prepared for my wife was delicious, I am enjoying a piece whilst writing this review. All of this arranged via Darren, who saw to our every need. Looking forward to our son and his fiancée wedding here booked for next year. Highly recommend.

Super friendly and personal service. The pride and passion is very evident in the staff. Clearly popular with locals and those like myself who come from further afield. Beautiful location. Quieter atmosphere as it was midweek but look forward to sitting outside in the gorgeous gardens.

We had a brilliant double birthday Sunday lunch here for two older relatives, along with a home-made personalised birthday cake. The team at the Plough were super-helpful throughout, and even found us a quiet table. The food was really excellent and we all enjoyed the birthday cake. Thoroughly recommended.

Met friends at this lovely country pub for lunch yesterday. Plenty paring available and great location. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. Friendly staff. Would highly recommend! Thank you.

Booked a table for 9 adults and 3 under 5s, for a birthday celebration. Never seen the pub so busy, thankfully there's lots of parking spaces. We had delicious Sunday roasts, (lamb, chicken and pork), the littlens had bolognese, garlic bread, chips. We also ordered a couple of side dishes of pork crackling and cauliflower cheese. Everything was cooked perfectly and the portions were very generous. We'd ordered a chocolate birthday cake for dessert, that was devine, fed everyone with leftovers! The staff very busy, but so friendly and delivered everything as arranged when we booked the table (think the sun brought in a lot more customers than usual). Thank you Angela and all the staff.
