Lovely food and great friendly service

I went for my 87 year old mothers birthday.with four others. I had the mushroom burger which was lovely and the rest of the group enjoyed their meals too. All cooked fresh. It was very busy with a Christmas group so service was slightly slow but acceptable. I was a little cold but it was a freezing cold day. Happy atmosphere. Would recommend and visit again. Very reasonable prices.

I organise many walks in west Kent - most ending with a pub lunch. The Plough is one of the best pubs in the area, reliably offers a good service, a good choice of menu and at a reasonable price. Thank you.

Visited for a firework-avoidance early evening meal with my two dogs. Good hearty meal. Lovely log fire. Bit hurried because they were closing early.

Came for Sunday lunch. 3 of us had roast and one of us a burger. It's not a cheap pub but all the meals were great with the veg a little different to a home roast (roasted beetroot for example) and the staff were so friendly and lovely which topped it off! Would not hesitate to come back or recommend.

Been awhile since we have been to the Plough.. Have to ask myself why as the food was lovely, service was great and the atmosphere was just what you would expect from a busy Sunday pub. We will for sure be back and a lot sooner than last time!

For a cold cloudy day it was nice to be inside staff friendly atmosphere quiet due to lack of customers.

We were a large group of 10 including 2 children. The food was great, as was the service received……nothing was too much trouble even though the pub was incredibly busy for Sunday lunches.

Just love it at The Plough! The surroundings, the service, the food…never fault it!! Can’t wait for our wedding next year :) :) :)

Fantastic roast with a superb selection of veg in a great setting with lovely staff.

The atmosphere is excellent and very welcoming, the service is excellent as well and couldn’t be better price.
