We were back on Friday 24 Feb for our anniversary Dinner 7 years ago Hazel gave us a memorable wedding in the barn we will definitely be back.

I was at the plough pub yesterday (Sunday) with family. And we had a lovely Sunday lunch. The service was great and very professional and very friendly. The food was cooked very well and one of our party was a vegetarian and said her meal was one of the best she ever had. So will be back again for sure.

Best roast dinner I have had in a long long time. Staff were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. Would absolutely recommend and am looking forward to going back.

First visit to this pub. Would definitely visit again. It was our Wedding Anniversary and we were celebrating with a meal. We were overheard by the server and presented us with a plate decorated with Happy Anniversary which was such a nice gesture and a surprise. Food was delicious and plenty of it and far more vegetarian choices than some pubs/restaurants. Will be back.

Lovely Sunday roast washed down with a gorgeous Romanian Pinot noir. 4 people with drinks and a couple of deserts came to just under £140 so not bad value. This historical pub has a cosy atmosphere and staff are helpful, cheery and knowledgeable. Check the website to see if it's open as it's often closed if there is a wedding on.

Really good roast lunch. And the food was only bettered by the service from the staff, very helpful indeed, went the extra mile to answer questions and to cater for allergies and food intolerances. We are a walking group who visit around 50 local pubs each year, and this one is definitely in the top ten, maybe the top three.

A very tender chicken burger. One of the nicest elements of the evening was the warmth of the welcome though. Lovely service.

I'm sure we would have enjoyed a meal there, but our car got stuck in mud in the dark and we had to be rescued. They told the guest who was waiting there for us that they would keep the kitchen open for a short while after 9pm, but when we called to say that we were on our way and would be there a few minutes after 9pm., they said they had closed the kitchen. Very disappointing. We didn't get to eat until after 10.30pm because everywhere we tried was closed. We ended up getting sandwiches at a service station. Felt quite ill by then, having been stressed out by our experience.

I’m very fussy about my roast dinner, for me it’s all about the potatoes and I have to say this is the best roast dinner I’ve eaten out. We had a table of 12 and not one person had a fault. Service was amazing and the pub is lovely. Highly recommend.
