fabulous place for post Bazaar shopping ! delicious food , great service , beautiful old pub ! we always enjoy coming here !

After some Christmas shopping at the Bazaar show next door we enjoyed lunch at The Plough. Wanted to switch tables and that was no problem for lovely Darren to accommodate us to a little nook. Delicious food, lovely wine, cosy atmosphere with the log fire going. Staff friendly and attentive. Would recommend.

We were greeted by friendly helpful staff who offered a wonderful service and were friendly, professional and accommodating. Our food was excellent - very tasty and excellent value. It’s a shame we don’t live closer because it would certainly be a place we would frequent. The environment was warm, very clean and we noticed attention to detail.

Booked pub for dinner as we went to the Christmas bazaar next door , the food was exceptional, although we live an hour away I would make the trip to go back , everthing from the start was beautiful and my friend has a few food intolerances and the chef even made her a dessert that had no gluten and dairy free especially which was devine , thoroughly recommend here and the service was friendly and no rush which is so nice I can’t recommend this place more x

We went for our anniversary meal, we got married at the Plough and hadn't been back since. The food is still amazing and the staff nice and friendly. We will still keep going back!

You cannot fault the food and service at the Plough in Leigh. All the staff are super friendly and nothing is too much bother. They are so welcoming. Food is excellent. Great value for money.

A lovely Sunday lunch in front of a fire that we shouldn’t need in September. Shouldn’t need it, but it was very welcome this year.

I was recommended here by a client and it did not disappoint - we headed there for roast and it was delicious! I used to review roasts back in London so it’s an obsession of mine, I’d give this a solid 8.5/10
