Kings Arms Ulverston to Fabulous food in a wonderful place. We booked very last minute for x8 of us myself being coeliac/gluten free I found there was loads of choice and really nice. We were looked after so well, great staff very friendly and attentive. Drinks were really good too. Definitely will return and reccomended to all. Thanks Happy New Year.

Ate at the farmers Thursday night , food was lovely ( we chose the Tai food) staff were lovely & really helpful, really good menu with lots of choice , nice atmosphere will definitely return ☺️

Had a fabulous lunch meal. The staff made it though our waiter was fabulous served us and kept popping over talking drinks orders . The food was lovely will be back

Really enjoyed my return to the Kings Arms, and as last time enjoyed the Thai food. First course prawn soup, main Jungle Curry. Both very nice, tasted authentic and spicy. My wife had scampi which we returned because it was a little overcooked. Kitchen had another plate of scampi ready in a few minutes, no stress. Overall good experience, although our late sitting was very noisy due to Saturday night busy.

As we stayed around the corner for a weekend away on my daughters 21st birthday I booked in advance as it was also bonfire night and spoke to a lovely lady. We arrived on time with a great table with a view of the street. The staff were so polite and couldn’t do enough for us and the food was excellent recommend for service and food.

Enjoyed a superb meal on Saturday with family visiting from Yorkshire . You are becoming our favourite place to bring visitors, food excellent and made to feel so welcome. Staff and atmosphere are both excellent, we will be back.

We visited as a family of 6 plus 2 dogs for a birthday meal. Table felt a little small. Service was slow but not a problem, food was great, the best I’ve had for a long time. The starters were imaginative and punchy flavours, the pies of the day were impressive, lamb was perfect, interesting veg. Only disappointment was steak was slightly overdone to order. Slightly elevated prices were acceptable for the great standard of food Atmosphere great. We will happily visit again.

Absolutely fantastic as always

Excellent restaurant with friendly service and delicious food. I ate a Lemon chili chicken fajita and it was divine. We were a party of 8 and everyone loved their food. Note - the desserts are ginormous so you may want to share if your kids opt for them.
