The Groes Inn is a fab place to eat. I went with my husband and children (agend 4 and 1 ) and nothing was too much trouble. The staff were helpful and welcoming; the atmosphere was lovely and the food was excellent. We will recommend this place to our friends as an ideal place to stop en route to the Llyn Peninsula or on the way back home.

First time in the The Groes Inn for me this Sunday. Great pub, really great and warmth atmosphere in the stunning area of Conwy. I had the prime beef burger and let me tell you that it was one of the best burger that I've ever had. I strongly recommend the Groes Inn, you won't be disappointed.

myself and my family visited this restaurant over the Christmas period, on our arrival we had to find our own table and we cleaned it down. We ordered our food at the bar and had to wait an hour and 20 minutes for it to arrive, we had two toddlers with us that were very hungry. When the food finally arrived it was cold an bland. My wife was told to get her own cup of tea from the bar whilst her food was going even colder. I would probably understand the wait if it was busy but it was quite, now i know why, i would not recommend this pub to anybody and the staff need more customer service training as they were rude.

i have been here a few times since moving to rhyl 4yrs ago, Its the best place to eat in rhyl. i highly recommend , its very inviting and the service is top class

The Bistro – Rhyl

We have been to the Gazelle many times and the meal has never disappointed. The location by the waterside on the Menai Strait is iddylic, with superb views of the mountains of Snowdonia on a fine day. If the weather is warm, sit outside and soak up the atmosphere. In the evening, choose the restaurant and if booking in advance, try to reserve the table in the bay window which has the views described above. The only downside is the service, which can be VERY slow, so don't go there if you're in a hurry. However, the freshly cooked food is worth waiting for!

The Groes Inn, nr Conwy is a beautiful cosy place to celebrate a birthday with lunch next to the warm fire. We travelled from South Wales to visit family and bought our dogs with us, so needed to find a nice pub which accepted 3 dogs while we ate lunch. As well as having a lovely meal, the dogs were greeted on arrival and even given treats to settle them while we enjoyed the traditional atmosphere and of course the food. We shall definitely visit again, and may even have an overnight stay as we now know the dogs will be welcome.

I come here quite a lot with friends/family- it is more for the location and nice sitting areas (there is a really nice conservatory area) than the food. The menu doesn't vary often (particularly if you are vegetarian) and the food is very average pub food. We rarely get any main courses as they are pricey for so-so food and just go for side dishes and starters. Its a real shame because if they focused on the food more the place could be really great. The service is always friendly and food is quick to the table -but the coffee just takes ages for the staff to prepare pretty much everytime we go. Saying all that though we keep going back as it is one of the nicest places near the beach. It's a nice friendly place to bring a family.

Stopped in with friends for a bank holiday lunch, and found TOBH to be more to our tastes than the perhaps more well known Ship Inn next door. A busy eatery is always a good sign, as is a willingness to bung a few tables together to cater for the size of your party. Service continued on that note, fast and very pleasant. The food was unfancy, tasty and well priced. No pretensions to being anything more than than it was. The menu covered a decent range of fish, meat and vegetarian options, and with addition of specials it was quite hard to choose what to eat. Portions were not stingy - and I'm all for a restaurant that can cook a decent new potato. It would have been nice to see a wider range of non-alcoholic drinks, because lets face it, if you come to Red Wharf Bay, someone had to drive...

We stopped in at the KA after a walk along the coast at Moelfre. The location is fantastic, with great views out over the bay. I can imagine it would be the perfect place to sit outside in the summer, but unfortunately it was a windy December day. The pub is spacious, feels family friendly but was quite empty when we went. The food is very much a la chain pubs like Weatherspoon, but perhaps not as polished. Not badly priced but definitely no risk of overpowering your taste buds. Overall a great location, especially if you can get a window table. Food perhaps more suited to those looking for a family experience than a dining one.

I stayed at Tre-Ysgawen Hall recently and had the most fantastic experience. The food was great and the service superb. Nothing was too much trouble. The spa and treatments are well worth a visit too! I will definitely be back.

I went to the Bull Hotel the other week with my Daughter for the first time. I will definitely be returning before Christmas as the Turkey dinner was the best i have ever tasted!!! The hospitality and service was excellent. My Daughter and I would recommend to anyone to eat, drink or even stay the night at the Bull. Merry Christmas to everyone at the Bull. Thank You and Kind Regards Ella Yorke.

visited again after one Year. This place is something. The food is absolutely Flawless. The flavours ,service, atmosphere is beyond description. I have personally recommended this place to many friends and they cannot be more grateful as they have been there many times and I have visited only twice in one year..I am envious! I tell you Indiana Cuisine is surely among the best of the best in entire UK.. A Visit to Snowdonia is incomplete without having a meal there. Good Luck to the Team.I .

Called into The Groes Inn during a holiday to the beautiful area around Conwy hoping for a quick snack. We were made so welcome by the owners and were astounded at the warmth and decor of the pub, the log fire and the amazing menu. The food was delicious and we can't wait to return for a longer stay in the beautiful rooms, which we were shown. Well worth a visit.

The Groes has been our favorite place to eat and drink since we discovered it on moving to this stunning part of the world some four years ago. The food is simply superb, the wine and beer excellent and the staff couldn't be friendlier. We had lunch there today - a game casserole to die for - warm fire, happy customers, what more can be said. We will return again and again.
