Lovely dining area, and good choice in the menu with specials also offered. Food served hot, well presented and very tasty.

My daughter and I ate here on Saturday. We created our own Mezze as Sophie is vegan. The food was sublime, so fresh and appetising. It was reasonably priced too. Decor is lovely and Staff helpful and attentive. 10 out of 10 Aqua. We will be back.

Lovely to see the place open again for business. Really friendly serving team. Food and wine were excellent. It was quiet for a Friday but prefer that to it being too busy and loud. A lovely evening, thank you very much. We look forward to coming again soon.

Had a lovely lunch on Tuesday. Beefburgers was delicious. Everyone in our party enjoyed the food they had. Service was good. Friendly and helpful staff.

Nice to be back at the Huff Cap.Staff very pleasant and flexible with me choosing parts from different bits of the menu and my food was tasty.The cheesecake was especially lovely. I would say though could have warmed serving bowls as my food was soon cold and also some more heating needed in the room itself as by the window I needed to put my coat back on..

Just one of those nights? Despite confirmed reservation arrived to be told the restaurant was full and only a bar table was available, once one had been cleaned. Two pints of beer pulled, one pint of clouded beer returned as clearly not drinkable. Two meals arrived, the steak was poor to the point of being, well, just chewy and sent back. Other meal, fish, was OK, bordering on a starter portion though. Alternative, braised beef arrived to substitute the steak which was massive to compensate the inedible steak. No offer was made to refresh the fish meal whilst waiting for the beef so fish finished before beef arrived. Surprised to be told, by, I think by the "host" that he had received a few complaints on the quality of meat supplied and was looking for an alternative source. Maybe, just change supplier after first complaints? That said, the chef is responsible to check and be satisfied, at the pass, that what leaves the kitchen is at a standard acceptable to the establishment. Obviously the steak was not charged for & its replacement was complimentary. Someones dog & another's child found their way under the table which I would have hoped would not have been the case in the restaurant, had our reservation been met, but who knows. The place has a great interior decor.

The staff were fantastic, and it was a busy Sunday serving. 3 out of the 4 ordered the beef, which in their words was divine. I had the chicken, which was excellent . However, the potatoes were not cooked, and we had to send them back, which took the shine of the meal somewhat

Fabulous Sunday dinner at the Huff Cap. Beautifully cooked pork and love the concept of picking and choosing your sides. Delicious!

Lovely pub and surroundings but Service was very slow and food was under average especially for the price.
