Had a lovely midweek lunch. The mussels were the best I've had in a long time and the pudding was delicious too. Definitely recommend this place to all!

Yesterday lunch was the first time for me What a thoroughly lovely meal I would most definitely recommend and hope to visit again .

Second visit to the Olive Tree now and the food and service was great again so definitely be back for more.

Thank you all at Goodfellows for another wonderful experience. We booked for dinner at 8.00 and arrived to find the restaurant nicely buzzing and lovely aromas coming from the kitchen. Once again, the front of house team were friendly and helpful with choices of food and wine and we took full advantage and managed 3 courses. The menu isn't overly long (a good sign!) but covers something for every taste. There is also a tasting menu with wine flight, if you're not driving! The kitchen team can be seen working hard from the restaurant and despite being very busy, our food all arrived in good time (although not at all hurried), was artfully presented and full of flavor. The overall bill was in line with what you'd expect to pay in a very good restaurant and we thought well priced. This is a wonderful place and one which we have firmly placed on our 'go to' list for a special night out .

As always at Goodfellows - a truly wonderful evening. Excellent food, excellent service, a wonderful welcome, and great surroundings. The best there is.

My wife and I visited Goodfellows yesterday lunchtime not knowing there was a lunchtime offer (for the second time but the first on a lunchtime). All we could say to everyone after leaving was ‘it was amazing’. The quality of the food and the cooking was absolutely brilliant. The service was excellent and fellow diners good company. We had an amazing time and then we’re very pleasantly shocked by the price - such great value for money! Thank you team Goodfellow, see you again soon :-)

Our first experience of 7B, enjoyed lunch on Valentine's day; really enjoyable experience and we will definitely return. Great service, simple menu that was just right for the occasion and the time of day; the food was prepared, cooked and served to perfection.
