As always the food was absolutely first class, the service attentive without being invasive, the atmosphere was buzzing and content. So all in all great value for money! We both felt very lucky to live in walking distance of such a special place.

Goodfellows at 7B – WellsGoodfellows has been our local restaurant to go to for excellent 'Michelin star' quality food and service since 2005 and now in their new venue they have gone to a higher level of food and service which, as always, is excellent. Adam, Martine and all the staff running the restaurant are always very friendly and go out of their way to make customers feel welcome. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
Goodfellows at 7B – WellsWe lunched at 7B last week and had dinner there a couple of weeks before. Yet again Adam completely wowed us with his glorious food. He is such a skillful chef, bringing out the absolute best in all his wonderful ingredients and makes magic with his fish dishes. I had the cod this time, which was pillowy soft, succulent and full of flavour, probably the best I've ever eaten. The set lunch menu is excellent value for money for the class of food being served. Can't wait to return in a couple of weeks time!

Goodfellows at 7B – WellsWe had eaten relatively frequently at the old location and were looking forward with interest to the new venue. The food was fabulous and nothing disappointed. We had two set lunches which were fantastic - the crayfish was absolutely gorgeous, and my husband had main course scallops which were amazing - but I’m too greedy with scallops, I’d have wanted a plateful! Decor is delightful and we will definitely be back.
Goodfellows at 7B – WellsWedding anniversary meal. Menu is limited, but something for most tastes. Service was efficient and unobtrusive. Wine list was reasonable for this type of restaurant. Wife had 3plump scallops with black pudding, and I had salmon to start. Mains were sweet potato and goats cheese tart (pastry a little dry but filling was full of flavour) and duck which was perfect and a reasonably good size portion. Cheese for both was excellent to complete the meal. Atmosphere was low key but a steady stream of customers kept the vibe going. The only down-side was the cold blast every time the door opened which was frequently as the kitchen is across the main entrance corridor. No doubt not an issue when the temperature gets a bit higher than winter. Will be back. Thanks.

We thoroughly enjoyed everything at 7b - service and ambiance were excellent, and the food exceptional - every course was divine! Nothing disappointed. In my opinion, the very best restaurant by far in Wells and surrounding area! We will definitely return!

The food is out of this world, and we have never been disappointed with any dish. If ever we go to dine elsewhere, we always compare it to Goodfellows, and it never measures up to Adam's top notch cuisine - everything tastes divine. Big thanks to Adam, Martine and the whole team. We feel very lucky to have such a wonderful restaurant in our area!
