We had a fantastic meal as usual on Saturday evening. Lovely fresh ingredients & good value for money. Staff are very friendly & helpful especially Natalia who is always super friendly & very helpful, she is an asset to the Olive Tree.

Visited for my birthday and we enjoyed an excellent meal with very prompt and professional service. Every course was cooked perfectly and presented beautifully.

We had an outstanding meal this Friday, we’ve eaten here previously and it’s definitely our favourite place to eat in Well’s. The team are fantastic and can’t do enough to ensure you are looked after

Lovely restaurant great food great staff highly recommended

This was my second visit to The Olive Tree and a wonderful lunch was enjoyed by our 4 family members. The scallops starter is divine and the 3 course fixed price lunch chosen by one of our party was such excellent value. It was market day and the restaurant was busy. However, Service was prompt and efficient and there was no sense of being rushed. Wells is about a 45 minute drive for us and we have lots of restaurants which are closer. Nevertheless, I fully plan to visit again.

We enjoyed a delicious lunch with good prices in this nice little restaurant just off the high street. Unfortunately the mussels were off the menu, but we both had tasty starters and main courses and my dairy-free diet was well catered for.

We had good expectations of the restaurant but it actually exceeded them. The staff were lovely, the chef clearly very competent, and the restaurant smart but understated and relaxed. The food was imaginative and very tasty. The only criticism was that the aubergine caponata with the lamb was too hot & spicy for my husband's taste, it would have helped to make this clear on the menu so that it could be avoided and an alternative chosen. All in all, a very good restaurant.

Had a lovely evening celebrating my daughters’ 18th birthdays. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. Would highly recommend.

One of the best meals we have had in a restaurant for ages. Great service, quality food you cannot cook at home and lovely atmosphere. Not cheap but still excellent value for money. Recommended

An excellent meal, whenever we visit Wells for The Comedy Festival we always try and book at The Olive Tree as we are guaranteed a quality experience which again it was with the Sunday Roast x

The food was delicious and beautiful presented, and met dietary needs very well. The staff were friendly and attentive and went the extra mile to help members of my party with accessibility issues.

Food was great, service excellent. Good choice on the menu. Wine list was fine. Very friendly and attentive staff. Light and airy dining room, nice atmosphere. We had a window seat and although relatively close to other diners, their conversations were not heard. Location is very central. Booked online in advance and glad I did as I think there was only one available table. Not sure they would necessarily have space for walk ins. Quality of the food was lovely. Quantity of food was right. Flavoursome and well presented. Although I’m not from the area, I would go back and would recommend it.

Steak was badly overcooked and poor quality. Nice atmosphere and helpful staff. The food was average, but wine was reasonably priced.
