La Flambe – ChippenhamWe had a table booked for 8.30 we didn’t get sat down until 9.15 even though we’d commented that they were late to which there reply was they don’t ear till late abroad and I said that might be the case but we’re not abroad…. Food was lovely but 10 o clock was too late to be eating and none of us finished our food as we had gone past it. If you book a table for 7.30 make sure you have one ready and available .

Had to find someone and try to get their attention to order after around 20 mins, then same for ordering additional drinks. Waited to pay the bill and ended up going up to the counter to pay as member of staff was chatting with another staff member at the bar.

My husband had the Christmas menu which was good value for money . The service attentive but not over the top. My only criticism is the portions were very generous so next time I will ask for a smaller portion as I dislike leaving food .

The four of us made different choices but no one was disappointed. We agreed that all the food was very tasty and beautifully cooked . Service was courteous and professional .
