Lovely service in a pleasant room. Food was well cooked and presented but protein portions were rather small. Puddings were ok but not unctuous .

Scene – MalvernWe had a very jolly lunch at Scene yesterday before the play’ journey around my father’. We were also lucky enough to catch sight of Rupert Everett in disguise around the theatre! The service was excellent. The food was outstanding! We will certainly include a visit to Scene every time we come to Malvern theatre.
Scene – MalvernBeautifully cooked, beautifully presented. Excellent food and excellent service. Tasty and hot. I wish that they would do smaller portions -
Scene – MalvernExcellent food, great friendly service, lovely atmosphere. Our third visit. Highly recommended.
Scene – MalvernEnjoyed the experience. The food was very good so was the timing. my only thought was that there is too much sugar on the creme brulee.
Scene – MalvernThe soup (which was all we had time for in between a film and our concert) was delicious and the service excellent.
Scene – MalvernToo much like a cafe. It’s a shame it still has the same feel as the last restaurant although it’s slightly better. Service too slow to slow to have time for a desert Enron g th tough we were there for 1.5 hours . Staff were v nice .
Scene – MalvernVery friendly, prompt and efficient service. We enjoyed two courses, all choosing different main courses, which were all delicious. We all chose sticky toffee pudding for dessert which was a sumptuous treat!
Scene – MalvernService was friendly and attentive. Food was good value for the money. Atmosphere was lacking a little as the restaurant was not very busy.
Scene – MalvernWe had a lovely pre-show dinner on Saturday 7 October. Nice clean restaurant with lovely friendly staff. Food excellent value for money.
Scene – MalvernHad a meal with 2 friends before the Bridesmaids show on Friday 29th Sept 2023. Service was top notch and so was the food, thoroughly enjoyed by all of us. They even kept our seats in the restaurant for us to use at the interval as we hadn't 'quite' finished our wine, which was very good of them. Nothing was too much trouble. I've eaten there a few times now before shows and it's always been lovely food, a good sized portion and value for money.
Scene – MalvernWe have had meals and theatre night 2/3 years ago but this menu was disappointing and when we enquired was told that the restaurant changed hands 2 years ago. Next time we will eat at the hotel and then go to the theatre. The staff were excellent.
Scene – MalvernConcerned to see that there were not many people dining (it was midweek) and wondered if the bistro has recovered from covid absenteeism (Das Rheingold was very sparsely attended too.). Staff were attentive, friendly and helpful and service was prompt. We over ordered tapas but ate it all and enjoyed it.
Scene – MalvernFabulous evening meal, good service and attentive staff. Thank you
Scene – Malvernhaving visited the scene many times before we were disappointed, staff were excellent, the food was not, please go back to bistro food , and leave the Mediterranean style food to the Mediterranean's who know what they are capable of. the number of empty tables last Saturday evening tell their own story.
Scene – MalvernIn hindsight it was not surprising to find the restaurant only half full despite a full theatre. The menu of tapas and mezze was rather restricted . We chose fish mezze which consisted of tasteless small prawns on a bed of wet cabbage, slabs of smoked salmon on fresh lettuce leaves but no dressing and some rather over peppered mackerel accompanied by two slices of burnt edged bread. The staff were friendly and polite. Fortunately an excellent performance of Gilbert and Sullivan took away the taste left by supper.
Scene – MalvernWe enjoyed a tasty lunch of 2 courses. The first was a seafood dish with bread and the dessert was a rich cheesecake. Both meals were most enjoyable and the service throughout was efficient with a clear wish from the outset to ensure that we were were well looked after. We will book again soon!
Scene – MalvernWe have eaten in the theatre restaurant many times & on our recent visit were disappointed to find that the menu had changed from the more traditional three course meal. We had a pizza & a pasta dish, which were ok, but not really what we wanted. We do plan to return to the restaurant & try the tapas on our next visit to the theatre.
