Pre show meal and drinks-Tapas was delicious, service was prompt and friendly. Marked 4/5 for atmosphere as there weren’t many diners on the night we went . Will definitely return! Thank you

Scene – MalvernWe visited the restaurant for pre theatre dinner. The food was gorgeous and plentiful. The staff were very welcoming and efficient. Would definitely visit again . Loved it.

The Gate Hangs Well – BromsgrovePre-theatre meal so we just needed a simple salad, I had Greek Feta Salad, the OH had Chicken Caesar salad. Both well priced, well presented and 'meal sized' meals and tasty. Water immediately offered by the friendly waiter / manager. A glass of very nice Carmenere too. A pity there were only two other couples beside ourselves dining. Had the restaurant been more fully occupied, atmosphere would have been better. Come on Malvern, give it your support!
Scene – MalvernWe wanted to like the food on the new menu but the fish mezze (all served on one plate) was very dry and desperately needed a dip or sauce with it. There was a little dribble of something over the prawns but that was it. Even the slab of toasted bread was served without butter or oil. The dish consisted of smoked salmon, smoked mackerel and tiny prawns on a bed of cooked cabbage (not nice at all) and a little leafy salad (also undressed). We tried one tapa dish but the salt and pepper calamari dish was equally dry (more batter than squid) with just a drizzle of sauce over it. The staff are always very welcoming and efficient and we have enjoyed many meals here in the past before going to see a show but sadly we are not impressed with the new Mediterranean menu.
Scene – MalvernFirst time eating at the theatre and was impressed, food was really good, staff efficient and friendly it was just a shame not enough people using it, as it was so convenient before a show x I will definitely be doing this again x
Scene – MalvernBooked for pre-show evening meal for two. Menu comprises mainly tapas/sharing style dishes but varied options, good portion sizes and nicely presented. Service was friendly and attentive and we liked the fact that we could save some of our bottle of wine - and our table - for the interval. Very quiet the night we went so a little lacking in atmosphere but preferable to being too noisy. Would definitely eat there pre-show again.
Scene – MalvernWe had an excellent meal at The Scene Bistro/Restaurant in Malvern Theatres. The food really was very good. Lots of flavour and very nicely presented. The menu was varied and interesting enough for most tastes. The Service was prompt, efficient and polite yet not overbearing. The atmosphere was quiet and refined, maybe a bit quiet for some but who wants to sit next to a rowdy table or have to shout to be heard? Prices were fair and portions were more than adequate. The dessert of Orange Polenta cake was sublime. Eating out isn't for the faint hearted when the bill comes, especially for a family of 4, but the prices at Scene were fair and reflective of the food quality. I felt we got what we paid for and that was very good. We would go again.
Scene – MalvernAs always excellent food, friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere. Wouldn’t go anywhere else for my pre-theatre dinner. Loved the menu switch up to tapas and mezze. Will definitely be back again.
Scene – MalvernReally like the new menu. Excellent and friendly service as ever.
Scene – MalvernPre-matinee lunch. We had the seafood salad. Delicious and beautifully presented. Just right for us. Excellent service. Will definitely lunch here again.
Scene – MalvernDelicious food and wine and friendly service , would go again
Scene – MalvernOverall our meal was a very pleasant experience. Because we were not very familiar with your set-up, we did not quite now how much food to order. However we shared it around, and in the end it was just about the right amount. Thank you.
Scene – MalvernIncredible food, fantastic, friendly service and relaxing surroundings-what more could you ask? The beef Wellington was the best any of us had ever had and that alone was worth the price of the set meal! The accompaniments were just as delicious and desserts didn’t let the side down-just perfect. If you’re thinking of going -go! Just make sure you wear elastic after waists-portion sizes are more than generous too!

The Paul Pry – WorcesterSunday lunch with friends and The Paul Pry did not disappoint. We have loved every meal here, the service and food is the best Worcester has to offer in our opinion. Keep doing what you are doing!
The Paul Pry – WorcesterAmazing roast dinner, we had Beef and Pork Belly, the best we have ever tasted. Warm and friendly atmosphere, definitely be back soon!
The Paul Pry – WorcesterThe roast dinners were amazing. We had nut loaf and pork belly, evrything was cooked perfectly and well seasoned I couldnt find a single fault , I would go as far as to say it is the best roast I have ever eaten. We had s.t.p. and apple crumble for dessert, both were great however I wasn't a fan of the ice cream or the custard we had. Homemade custard would have made a alot of difference but overall it was 10/10 for me and we will be back. The beer on offer was also very good.
