I met up with family from abroad and the masons arms was a good meet for us all. Pleasant atmosphere for a relaxed lunch and chat.

Great accommodation, great atmosphere, great food & service. It’s nearly 10 years since we last stayed at the Masons Arms and it’s still as good as it was then, despite a change in ownership. Will definitely be using it again as a stopover on our way to Cornwall, maybe not leave it 10 years this time.

We’ve visited olive 4/5 times now and every time has been incredible. The food is innovative and delicious, the service is outstanding from the waiting staff that make it look effortless. We will be continuing to visit Olive on a regular basis for a guaranteed endorphin hit!!!

Delicious breakfast on a Saturday morning and lovely surroundings with the sun shining. The lamb/beef breakfast sausages were a treat.

Had a thoroughly enjoyable evening sampling some fantastic dishes. It was their first evening service and based on our experience I know this will become a super popular Saturday evening spot. Looking forward to our next visit already.

We were four seniors with two young dogs, having a family get-together on a Wednesday lunchtime . We had booked a table inside, and the dogs were welcome there, but we decided to eat in the 'hut' in the garden. The staff were very helpful and provided a pretty quick service. We all enjoyed tasty food from a good choice on the menu. We went inside afterwards, and found a pleasant, calm atmosphere in which to enjoy our coffee.

I had a lovely stay and meal at the Masons Arms this week. The food and service were excellent and I was made to feel very welcome by Rose and the team. I was a little late for the meal (due to over running work), but that was not a problem.

Second visit to this new place and great to have somewhere local that has such a good menu. Lots of options for vegans/vegetarians and meat eaters. The new owners have made the place so much better than what was there before.

We had a family meet up halfway between Bristol and Weymouth and have used the Masons Arms 3 times. The food and service have always been very good. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely delicious lunch and lovely atmosphere

The Masons Arms provided a great finger buffet, plenty of choice all freshly made and always on hand to refill our tea and coffee. The staff were amazing, helpful and knowledgeable. We were a group of 17 who had attended our mum’s cremation which was mid morning and when we arrived were ready for us despite being early. Many thanks.

charming staff. really interesting menu. and how wise to allow well behaved dogs. whilst understanding the problem, much less certain about ill behaved brats. Amen

Do book as they get busy Fabulous small plates with Mediterranean flavours but local ingredients. Outstanding buffalicious mozzarella with courgette and pesto, chicken shawarma and halloumi fries and delicious veg fritters. Plenty of food. Great range of drinks from cider to coffee and gorgeous cakes. A reward on a 7 mile dog walk!

Fabulous food local fresh ingredients great for vegetarians. Great service and atmosphere.

This was our first visit to the Olive Kitchen and we were very impressed. The food was outstanding, full of flavour and cooked well the cocktails were lovely. The atmosphere was warm, inviting and the service was very good. Great little find on our doorstep- will use again. ⭐️

Good menu, good priced plentiful kids meal, my son had kids burger and chips which he demolished and it looked lovely, grandad had fish and chips which he said was really tasty. Me and the husband ate from the lunch menu, mine a jacket potatoes and his a sandwich only bit of constructive criticism would be to use a nicer bread with the sandwiches it would make all the difference it had what I would class as cheap thin toasting bread but that was the only let down. Will be back!!

Very enjoyable meal and evening with One Tree Hill playing. Good unfussy food at reasonable price.
