Great food, really good service and good Covid standards. I love the food here but they really impressed with the overall package in weird times so well done Maxis , I really enjoyed my lunch and will be back, have a really happy Christmas.
Maxis – YorkFirst meal out for a while, the food and service were excellent, the atmosphere was understandably a little subdued, with only 3 or 4 other couples in the restaurant, but we still enjoyed a lovely meal , the service was excellent. Our only minor gripe was that the dining area was a bit on the cold side.

The menu catered for all tastes and was very varied . I was particular impressed with the vegetarian menu ... Service was exceptional and I could not fault the restaurant in anyway . This was my first visit but definitely not the last . Thank you for a lovely meal ...

It was not our first visit and despite the restaurant being quiet, the food was excellent, and as the main was all cooked fresh, we enjoyed a bottle of wine and a nice starter whilst we were waiting. Nothing is too much trouble. Overall such a pleasant experience after being stuck at home for a month.

31 Castlegate Restaurant – YorkWe always went to Maxis in Leeds on a regular basis and miss it so much. So now have to travel over to York, which we have done a few times now. The food and the service and the staff are all fantastic and can not fault it. It’s the best Chinese meal ever. Will definitely be going back. We were also impressed with the social distancing .
