Was looking forward to visiting this new revamped venue but found the drinks expensive the hosts too business focused to welcome you properly or say goodbye! and they were not to busy either to do this! The ambience was ok inside but we were asked straight away to make sure we took our granddaughter into the beer garden which was no problem but when you are asked to remove your cap in the pub I draw the line, its a pub not a church!! sorry guys you wont be seeing me or my family again.

Just dropped in to this restaurant at random whilst staying overnight in York. My wife was unsure due the the area it was in but it was cold and windy so we went in. What a great result. The food is as good as it getts and the sevcie from the owners and staff is all you might expect when eating out. Well done all and I am pleased to give you this review.

The only place I have eaten at in England where they serve truly authentic Chinese food for a considerably cheap price for large portions. A definite go. Im not eating today so I can go tomorrow.

Kapadokya is fantastic! We have now been a number of times and the service is always so friendly and the food absolutely delicious. We couldn't recommend it more, it's a real gem!

I had a fantastic meal at Bombay Spice, one of the best since having a holiday in Goa. I will be returning to York in the next few weeks and will definitely be booking in again

Mister C's holds a Fish and Chip Quality Award from the National Federation of Fish Friers, placing it in the top 2 of shops in the country. You can be sure of the quality of service and product received in this shop as it consistently serves up some of Britain's finest fish and chips.

The Burton Stone Inn is the best pub to be and for all your pub food and to hear the best Music at a weekend from freemans entertainmentand have a good night out.

i'm absolutely amazed by the level of great customer service Jinnah gives me all the time. They have become my friends and I have become their loyal customer who visits every weekend as the food is without a doubt the best in Selby and maybe in Yorkshire. Best in Selby. Me and the girls love this place. staff are polite and helpful. food is amazing. place is ravishing with inside waterfalls and palm trees that give you a great feeling when dinning inn. will visit for ever for indian food

By far the best Chinese meal we have eve had and if in york at lunchtime their shopper special is great value for money.

13/10/1217.30 Two out of three fish dry and hard, Had been left to dehydrate on hot plate They were unable to give refund, until I made a fuss and manager call.Shop seem to be run by young people who were unable to make decisions.could only exchange fish. No apologizes given when first contacted by phone from home.

I have enjoyed Indian food all over the world, including in India, but never as much as at this restaurant. The service is exceptional, although be prepared to wait if you go later in the evening to what is a busy venue. I like my food rather spicy and there was no issue with my asking for dishes to be prepared to my liking. True, it is not cheap, but the food is freshly prepared, even when they are busy, and you will enjoy an unforgetable experience.

I recently took a friend to dinner here and we had a superb ala carte meal. I had heard good things and seen a few of the reviews on here before we went and I must say it was nigh on perfect from start to finish. The quality of the food was shown off with expert cookery and the service was attentive and interested. Compliments to all involved at this fine establishment.

We booked a table for 9pm and were told that we had to be out of there as they lock the doors at 10.30pm as this is their strict policy , this was saturday night !!!! Needless to say we cancelled this as we did not want to be rushed .
