I have now dined at your Bistro on a number of occasions and found the appetisers and main course extremely enticing. I feel your dessert menu could do with the same attention. The wine choice is impressive as is the knowledge of the sommelier. I look forward to dining with you again very soon and hope that the dessert list is much improved.

Excellent cooking and a wide choice of wines. Good service and pleasant surroundings backing on to a garden, with a good deli attached. Excellent pasta (crab and potato, and pumpkin and goat's cheese). Would recommend. BPM

The food was absolutely marvellous,staff very professional and pleasant. They even accommodated us when they where fully booked.

We took a gamble and drove to the Gnu Inn in North Newbald. It has been 3 years since our last "not so memorable" visit. The St Pat's day gamble paid off, the pub has new landlords ; Sonia and Steve! Environment: We were very pleasantly surprised, the pub has had a makeover, nothing pretentious, clean, a tastefully decorated environment, subtle colours, even the long pub seats have new back rests! The toilets are spotless, cheerful with a choice of hand washes. Food: Big choice from the menu or the Daily Board, The food was well presented on white crockery, hot and tasty! Our compliments to the chef! Value for money: Drinks: a pint, 2 halves, 2 lemonades, 2 adult main courses and I child's main course with 2 desserts came to £42. This is excellent value! Hidden Gem: This hidden gem is a must for walkers, cyclists, sightseers and families. You will not be disappointed! Stopped in York for my Mothers 60th birthday 12/13 March 2010. Six of us descended yet again on the Viceroy. Prebooked table, good job as very busy at 7.30 on a Friday night. Food still as good as I remember from a couple of years ago. Mixed kebabs, onion Bhajis and fish tikkas for starters, vindaloos, mixed tandoori and vegetable curries for main, naan bread, six kingfishers and two bottles of house wine only £123.00 for six of us. Quality of food excellent even though the restaurant was so busy. All the staff are courteous and friendly. Highly recommended. Next time I am in York I will be back !!

I went there with my friends last fri. We really had a great time there. I ordered curry puffs for my starter and they were very nice. My main dish pork panaeng curry was superb, the grilled pork chop was tender and the curry sauce was very well seasoned(not too spicy!). The waitress who served was really nice and helpful. We'll definitely be back there:)

Red chili is fab. You'll not see many Chinese people eating in Chinese restaurants except this one. It's the real deal.

Stayed for a birthday treat, in a log cabin..the cabin was great really posh and comfy,the hot tub was divine sat in it for hours really relaxing treat.. the food in the restaurant was gorgeous also the service was top notch, my only tiny criticism is that i felt it was a little dated and over crowded with props and the tables are too near one another.. really worth the money to stay over even though its not cheap.

Myself and friends went to Thida Thai for the first time there were 16 of us. We would like to let you know that we had the best time, best food and very very good service. All the waiters come around asking for drinks, top up our beers and wines. The food were fantastic and well presentable. We will go back again.

What a wonderful restaurant. My husband and I dined there on Friday 18 September 2009. We had just got married that day and the staff made us feel incredibly special. The food was fantastic and the singer sang a romantic song for us. We will most definitely be recommending the restaurant to our friends.

We went in on a Wednesday night and were seated almost straight away. The service was fantastic and the young, brown haired woman who served us was bubbly, chatty and genuinely interested in our night out. There was a mistake in the way my main meal was cooked but i know it's not a common thing as we go there often enough. The mistake was rectified quickly and the kitchen staff worked efficiently, while our waitress apologised and offered us a discount. The food is great value for money and we all know that there are plenty of offers designed to draw in the recession hit many but the atmosphere and service sets this restaurant apart from the rest. Recommended!!

FANTASTIC RESTAURANT AND HOTEL STAYED TWICE WOULD STAY AGAIN !

Possibly the worst Turkish 'type' food I've ever had. My wife had Iskende: terrible tomato sauce and waiters that are apparently deaf. Even the bread was crap. Nul points

Visited this excellent steakhouse twice in a week. Once with my better half when we had the grilled Argentine sausage (very tasty) followed by a medium rare fillet steak that was so tender I could have cut it with a spoon! Combined with two bottles of Malbec and friendly efficient service, I vowed to return. Fortunately I got the chance to visit again with my daughter and this time opted for the mixed grill which was very good. My daughter raved about the chicken dish she had chosen. Another good bottle of wine and a bill for two of under £50. Happy days!

Once seen, the food tasted, never to be forgotten, When ever I am near the location of the Cod & Lobster I just gravitate towards it's welcoming doors...the Boullibasse is to die for and my friends face was a treat to behold when she first encountered the ''Club Sandwich.!!the Jazz nights are great...the food superb...Well done to all the Chefs, restaurant staff and management team you make dinning out a pleasure...

I would not recommend this restaurant. I have given it three goes now, as it is a convenient meeting place with friends. The service is terrible, you are rushed in and rushed out, which is odd considering the times that we have visited there were only a couple of other tables occupied. The food arrives quickly.. not sure whether this is good or not.. but probably the latter as its low quality, poor tasting food, which you'll find is very much over priced. I had a couple of glasses of wine, and then a glass of tap water.. which 4 of us all thought tasted like it was tinged with kitchen cleaner detergent! If you are looking for a really great Thai restaurant and don't mind travelling. The best Thai that I have found in Yorkshire has to be in the small market town of Beverely, called Muang-Thai. Its genuine fresh Thai food at its best, its very small with only 60 covers or so to enable the chef to literally cook your meal to order. Its mouthwatering. I was sadly disappointed at Sangthai, especially having read so many good reviews in the past. Skip the disappointed and give it a miss.

We also stayed in their accommodation as well as eating in the restaurant. The whole experience was fantastic, made very welcome, excellent atmosphere and the food was just gorgeous. Not that expensive either and we will certainly be heading back there. Impressive and could not fault any part of it. Even the breakfast was outstanding!!!

I visited nineteen 16th April 2009 celebrating my 40th!I wanted somewhere different and special. I got exactly that, I highly recommend Nineteen, the food was superb and the service second to none, We were made to feel very welcome and nothing was a problem i had the sought after 'table 9' which was great also!thankyou nineteen for the great meal i have never shut up about the ham, pineapple& egg starter!!!!
