Katies Diner, Edinburgh Recommended by Neil (1st May 2008)
My wife and i had a wonderful time there, its a great location and the food is superb especially the desserts. Its almost like a home away from home and Geoff and Kate are so friendly and welcoming.
Mailcoach, Glasgow Recommended by Agnes Mcgregor (23rd April 2008)
I recently ate here with a group of 8 (mixed ages), there was something for everyone on the fixed price menu. Particularly enjoyed the Mexican Chicken which was on the Special's Board! Lovely creamy sauce, not too spicy. Waitress very pleasant and Manager approached us to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. Very well looked after here. Had the Banana & Toffee Cheesecake which was tasty and well presented. Set-menu good value for money. I have already booked my next meal!
Kings Lodge, Glasgow Recommended by Faithandtaz (23rd April 2008)
This is the best chinese buffet in Glasgow. It has a wide range of main meal dishes and plenty of seafood. The desserts aren't as impressive but all in all its good food at a good price.
Buongiorno, Glasgow Recommended by Pj (22nd April 2008)
When I visit Glasgow from Los Angeles I always make Buongiorno a must stop, simply a very pleasant experience. Great food and unusually good service for a Glasgow restaurant. My kids love the place and talk about 'that pasta we had in Glasgow' all the time. Buongiorno thank you.
Caprice, Edinburgh Recommended by Ronny Smith, Louise Smith (14th April 2008)
Caprice is a small Italian pizzeria which sells the most gorgeous freshly wood fired oven-baked pizza I’ve had in a while, its prepared right fresh in front of you. Does takeaway and sitting in the small, dimly lit restaurant is a good experience. Very busy so advise to reserve ahead of time. portions are huge and very tasty!!! Good value for money and an old favourite with the locals. ;-)))

Hotel Du Vin Bistro At One Devonshire Gardens, Glasgow Recommended by Pungo (6th March 2008)
I think what really made my evening was the service, all the staff were knowledgeable, passionate and professional and for me (and my fellow diners)that was such a treat. That is not to take away from the quality of the food which was simply awesome-and what a selection!! My meal at devonshire gardens was one of the best in my life! I would recommend it to any and all and cannot wait until i can visit again the next time i'm in glasgow.

Love the village for quality and service. Excellent menu. Always busy but have always managed to get a table - seems to be a firm favourite for large family groups.
