i would recommend the staging post to everyone.there is a great atmosphere and children are also welcome. the food is really well priced and is home made and tasty.
More The Staging Post recommendationsWithout a doubt, the best Mexican food I have had. The staff were super-friendly without being over the top. The restaurant is spotless and relaxed. I loved it and am already planning when to return!
More The Bonnybank Inn recommendationsI'd definitely recommend Spicy Nights. I went to the Lunch Buffet and it was excellent. Clean place, Great Food, Friendly Staff
More Spicy Nights recommendationsVery good authentic cuisine
More Manzil Tandoori Restaurant recommendationsI have eaten numerous Indian meals in my 46yrs and I am very fussy regards food, hygiene and service - I cannot fault this restaurant which I have dined in many times. Staff are always eager to please their customers and offer a warm friendly welcome every time. I rate it 1st class in all aspects especially regards it's cleanliness. My favorites are: prawn pakora, chicken pakora, mushroom pakora, chicken tikka (all of which are the best I have ever tasted) followed by turkish delight ice cream and Irn Bru ice cream. I recommend this wee gem which never disappoints me, hope you enjoy it too :)
More Spicy Nights recommendationsRecently we spent a wonderful evening at The Old Bank Restaurant, to celebrate our Anniversary. The food was delicious. We were pleasantly surprised by the large choice of daily specials as well as a varied A la carte to choose from. The food arrived piping hot and the serving were generous. The desserts were equally satisfying and we were having such a lovely evening in tastefully decorated surrounding that we relaxed with liqueur coffees! What a treat it was. A huge thank you to the staff for a memorable evening. We will DEFINATELY be back for more. PS. I should mention that my wife is vegetarian and she also had a variety of different dishes to choose from.
More The Old Bank Restaurant recommendationsAte here the other night and took some friends with us. The choice of starters was excellent and although the menu was only on one page there was at least eight mains to choose from. One of our group was veggie and she had three quite unusual mains to pick from. The stuffed chicken and sea bass dishes were brilliant but the real star was the sticky toffee pudding which was one of the very best I have tasted. Apparently the woman cooking got the recipe from an old lady in Banff but it beat any I have tried in Glasgow or Edinburgh by miles. Also saw their valentines menu which looked quite special but was not able to come back for that. They say they source as much ingredients locally and even had the names of some of the suppliers on the menu which I thought was good.
More Eilean Dubh Restaurant recommendationsFound this busy little place when visiting Glasgow. We liked the look of this place last time we visited so thought we would pop in. The interior is quite modern with plank stools in the window and timorous beasties lamp shades over the tables and has managed to combine this with a couple of smaller more enclosed areas for more intimate eating. They were able to fit us in even though it was quite busy and we ordered a selection of 'wee' dishes to share. Next to the people you enjoy it with the food is what it all comes down to in a restaurant in my opinion and it lived up to my expectations. We had war teeps (small Chinese dumplings with a pork filling) some duck wrapped in a lettuce leaf (a healthy spring roll) and some small triangle parcels with a spicy sauce. and shared a main course of King Prawn Katsu curry. I love eating like this and it felt like we had our own Chinese banquet. left feeling very satisfied and cant wait when i am next up. Thanks for the great service Wudon!
More Wudon recommendationsyou guys are in for a treat. this chef has moved from teesside to this restaurant, we were regulars in the old place near to us. We've made the 400 mile trip to dalgetty already and will be back very soon. i recommend the sag, the parmos and the pakoras.
More Ali Mcbaba's recommendationswe don't want to recommend the Anarkali because we want to keep it to ourselves. Fantastic food, really friendly staff and BYOB - what more can you want? Been to many other Indian restaurants but none come near it for quality and value. Please don't redecorate - we like the 70s decor!
