The food was really good and the atmosphere great!

Both myself and members of my family have been here several times for evening meals and the occasional lunch. The reason we keep returning is for the delicious food, great service ( Sharon) and we particularly like the outdoor eating environment. Once again we had an enjoyable lunch this week.

We had the pleasure of having a lovely lunch at the Vine on Wednesday. The on line booking was easy. The welcome when we arrived was friendly and genuine. The food from the set menu was great-I had pate,ham and Eton mess,my wife had soup,chicken and sorbet- delicious. All of the food was well cooked with large portions. The staff were attentive, friendly and efficient. All of the present guidelines on cleaning and distancing were strictly followed. The price for three courses was fantastic-we will be returning soon. Congratulations to everyone involved in the wonderful food. Thank you!

A great experience. Fantastic service from front of house, and a lovely carvery. Tender fresh meat with seasoned tasty vegetables. Will definitely be coming again.

Had Sunday lunch at The Vine recently excellent food and service

Ate on Friday lunchtime. Very covid safe. Staff were friendly and helpful and attentive. Food was excellent and a good price. Looking forward to the next vist.

Good food, once again. V pleasant place to eat and drink. Service a bit slower than normal but that's due to Covid restrictions.

Its been some time since we last went to Da Gino and this visit really reminded us of how good it is. Excellent friendly service, high quality food and wine and a relaxing ambience. Looking forward to our next visit which will be soon!

Enjoyed a splendid meal here yesterday. Four of us all settled for the Set Lunch menu and it was extraordinarily good for a very reasonably priced meal.. The pork and chicken particularly were excellent. The staff are professional and helpful and not at all 'pushy!' We had hoped to sit in the delightful gardens but the cold weather meant we were seated in the dining room, which is very cozy. Good to see that The Vine is back in business. We do hope they have a very successful summer, they deserve to do well.

The Vine still as rustic charm, a very varied menu to suit all. Me and a friend first meal catch up since lockdown, and was looking for a light lunch menu? Although the set meal was reasonable so we choose the 2 course for £13.95, I had butterflied garlic chicken, very moist and tasty, French fries and a divinely dressed salad, which I really enjoyed. My friend went for the belly pork with all the trimmings she truly enjoyed it. The desserts were also yummy chocolate & pear sponge with custard was my friends choice, I went for rum Raisin & cranberry cheesecake with a delicious ice cream Mmmm. When we were given the dessert menu and the reverse side was The Lunch Menu!!!!!! With an Aray of lighter options!! . We weren’t hurried and allowed to chat over the delicious coffee. Definitely visit again but next time please show us all menus so we can make our preferred choice!!! Thank you

We had a lovely meal for Father’s Day carvery is excellent and lots of choice, some ordered of menu as well and all enjoyed it. Lovely atmosphere and great staff. Cannot fault a thing.

We go to Gino's regularly, & missed the team very much indeed during lockdown! We had the Father's day lunch yesterday, including the steak & duck, which were both wonderful. We really cannot fault anything. We've back for lunch this Friday, trating two friends. Kevin & John

We had a lovely Carvery for Fathers Day, the portions were good the meal was hot and there was a variety of vegetables. The service was excellent as staff were friendly and checked on us regularly. We had a very positive first experience and will be returning soon.

Revisited The Vine last weekend after all the lockdowns and pleased to say that the food is still as good as ever. Drinks and food arrived on time, could not fault the place. Will certainly visit again soon.

The vine is a fab place to eat for a nice relaxed meal, really good fresh, tasty, local produce We usually have a couple of awkward customers in our gang, no weat, dairy etc, they are always happy to adjust things to suit It's the first place we wanted to go as a family after lockdown
