I visited for Sunday lunch as one of a party of six. We all agreed that the food was extremely good. Only small glitches were that the starters were quite slow to arrive and it was actually very cool inside the pub; so much so that had to keep my jacket on and I was not the only one.

The covid restrictions were well thought out and clearly signed and we were immediately shown to our table. The main menu and specials (venison and sea bass) was extremely tempting but we plumped for pub lunch instead. The Butty Bach was absolutely delicious, so much so that I was unable to resist ordering a second. The Ploughmans was very generous and really tasty My ciabatta was delicious and the side of sweet potato fries was cooked perfectly (not often the case in my experience) Watching the other food coming out we will definitely be visiting again to sample more of the fayre. Highly recommended.

Aqua Food and Mood – CoventryA very pleasant treat in a favourite area. The Covid regulations did not spoil the atmosphere and the service was good. I chose the Vine Moussaka which was delicious and my friend ordered the ham and mustard homemade sandwiches thinking she needed something light as she was having her main meal in the evening. However the portion was enormous, enough to satisfy any walker or cyclist!

Da Gino – Sutton ColdfieldDisaster from start to finish! Arrived to find our table had been given away because the waitress couldn't hear what name somebody else had given so just guessed. Then had to wait for another table in a very crowded entrance, once seated and ordered we waited well over 1 hour for our food, when we complained waitress just said kitchen is busy! (Don't book so many people then if kitchen can't cope). Social distancing was non existent and we felt very unsafe, ate our meal, asked for the bill only to wait again, in the end my friend went to the bar and paid. Won't be visiting again, found waitress to be rude, manager Bianca was polite and apologetic.
