Food was gross and a waste of my every penny!!! I want my money back you thieves!

OUTSTANDING FOOD!! I was with a group of friends next door at the electric cinema and after our film finished we fancied an Indian, we usually go to Taj mahal but instead we thought we would try out tarana this time as we had just seen the restaurant for the first time and it was a great experience! Professional staff providing the best hospitality, very clean restaurant, the interior is also well decorated and the best of all is the food which is excellent, freshly prepared and filled with different flavours.. I have to recommend the tarana jalfrezi! Will definitely be visiting again with family & friends Thank you tarana :)

I've been back to this Establishment several times now and the food is amazingly consistent . The Chef is from Nepal and he knows his stuff. My Best ever option was Chicken Jalfrefi & Mixed Grill & Chilli Paneer with Chill+garlic+coriander Naan! Simply amazing.

I have eaten at San Carlo on a number of occasions first time was for my first wedding anniversary in the years that have passed me and my wife have eaten at other restaurants but still come back to San Carlo and don't just wait for our Anniversary as we enjoy the atmosphere and food so much. I have already booked our table for our special day, if you've not been yet I highly recommend you book your table. Fantastico

In one word BRILLIANT !!! I am glad that the first review on here never put me off visiting this diner . They have the biggest menu i've seen with loads of tasty choices. I had the Angus Burger, which I think is the best burger I have eaten in a very long time. I also had a warm cookie dough and ice-cream and I was in heaven. I brought 4 friends with me they all tried something different and enjoyed it .The price was reasonable for the portion and quality of the food. I do think the area they are in does not deserve such a nice unique place I wish they were in Sutton Coldfield...next time I come I will try the soul food .

Gorgeous lunch in a classy Italian restaurant in the centre of Birmingham today. The place has a real luxurious feel and the food matched the vibe. Service was very professional yet friendly. Would recommend and return!

Good meal reasonable price Downside to my recent visit was hearing Some of the staff discussing how they were getting paid cash in hand whilst cheating the benefits system! Come on guys its just not fair on the Millon's of taxpayers in this country!

This is a great pub but it does not serve food.

Just returned home after fantastic meal. Service excellent unlike other restaurants waiters and waitresses not constantly hovering. Everyone very pleasant. Be back soon.

Booked a table for 830 for my birthday. We arrived in plenty of time and the restaurant wasn't full yet we were not seated until 9.40. We were then hidden away in a corner. I cannot fault the food it was beautiful, however the staffs snotty attitude was not. For the amount of money we spent in there I was expecting great friendly service that I didn't get .

We came for our Christmas dinner yesterday 25/12/2015 my husband Colin, myself Joanne my son Matthew and my daughter Katie. Well I can honestly say it was the best meal I have ever eated out and we go out every Sunday to Eat. From start to finish the food was perfect went well together and the service from the gurgus friendly staff was out of this world. Ginos wife personally sent us off with a little treat and a smile. The whole experience of eating there on such a important day was brilliant. Jo xx
