Fantastic meal at San Carlo Birmingham. A really great Italian restaurant. Love the one in Manchester too!

I have just eaten at the restaurant in Brockmoor. I booked for 24 people, I rang to say some guests were not local and to allow a few minutes as they unaware of the locality. Reply was "no problem", As it was the majority had arrived when we did at 7.00pm. Nobody approached and asked us to order and at a few minutes past 7 the Manager refused us the Early bird menus. I explained to him (John) that I had made the call and also left voicemail asking to be excused if arriving late. As it was we were on time. The manager was most undo-operative and flatly refused to compromise. My plea/explaination wen on for some 10 minutes. John was totally inconsiderate and told me he did Not value our booking as he frequently had bookings of that size. I said we may have to go elsewhere as I had told the others we would get the earlybird concession. He replied with "You ca go to the cripple if you like. Eventually I asked to speak to his Manager But he said he was the Manager. I then asked for the phone number of his Senior but he flatly refused to give it and told me to look on the website. At this point two other guests from the party came to support me and he eventually gave me the telephone number of his senior. Believe it or not when another guest arrived he allowed us to have the earlybird concession !! What a thoroughly unreasonable impolite, and sour faced member of the staff in an otherwise good restaurant.

Amazing little restaurant the quality of food is unbelievable. A must if you are in the area.

I went to Jimmy Spices, Sutton Coldfield for my birthday on the 5th November; and it was awful!The food was terrible! I have never seen egg fried rice with peas and carrots in it, neither have I ever been to a restaurant that serve Indian food that tasted so bland!And just to top it off the was a long black hair in the middle of a piece of their carrot cake!really dreadful experience.

Nice staff. Naff food. Cold chips. Been once. Not any more. Probably best because it is unhealthy junk food.

We celebrated our son's 21st Birthday at the Fahrenheit Grill via a Living Social Voucher, 14 of us in total and can only say that both the staff, food and service and 2nd to none and a close par with top cruise cuisine. All had a bet in the casino for a bit of fun. Can't wait until we can visit again. Simply brilliant!

Food can be on point one week whereas following week not as good. Too much salt which will trigger blood pressure and too much hot chilli which burns the tongue and ruins the taste of the food. I personally find the hot chillies in the food disgusting. I am going to Bings

Absolutely gutted. I tried this place a coupke of weeks about and the burgers were amazing and the fries were crispy. I ranted and raved to my family about how good it was. We went there about 1 hour ago and they had no burgers left only chicken burgers which were farmfoods at best and the fries were just cold french fries and not even the same as the fries they were selling 2 weeks ago. For 4 adults and a 2 year old it came to 30 quid!!!!!! And to add insult to injury we were kept waiting for just over an hour for a cold meal i could cooked better myself. Bloody fumin' isnt the word.

Ordered food on 12/09/15. Was ready for collection very quickly and tasted delicious. Would highly recommend the hake and fried chicken. Dumplings are very good too!

Visited a week ago, quite impressed the food was good as was the customer service and as a result took people with us tonight. What a contrast... Last week we noticed that we were the minority, this week made to feel unwelcome too and would only go back to wind them up !! Can't fault the food or portions but the attitude of the waiter was questionable. There are no visible notices in the restaurant or on the menu to advise that alcohol isn't served or that you can't take in your own beverage, the way we were informed was uncomfortable and unnecessary, as was being told that they don't accept card payment which was not a problem last week. I went to the vine on sat the 15th Aug 2015 with six friends and the food that we had there was beautiful. Everybody enjoyed it. I would highly recommend the Vine for its food.

Rang to speak to the manager , and a rude employee answered- after a coversation of 33 seconds, told me to 'F*** OFF' left me feeling shocked & upset. Hope the place closes down soon- or at least gets rid of their crappy freshy staff! Disgusting behaiviour .

Just visited for a pint and a cob. Decided to have chips with it. Not impressed either with the price or the quality of the food. Won't be eating here again.

Have been here numerous times, fantastic service, staff could not be more attentive if they wanted to be, menu has a wide selection and staff will explain contents of any dish you want if required. We always go for early bird special and come out feeling as if we will not be able to eat for days. Hopefully see you there soon.

Ordered food for delivery, order arrived incorrectly and overcharged. Phoned for correct order only replaced what was missing and did not refund my money. Will not order again as feel totally ripped off women tried to tell me I only ordered 1 curry with 3 rice??? Still charge did not add up. Rice was hard and food was terrible

Despite them making us call and book and then call again 2 hours before we were due to arrive to confirm the exact numbers, which we did. They were not ready for us or even capable of dealing with a group of 12 people. We waited over an hour for the starter and 2 hours for the main course. We were booked in for 7:30 pm and by 9:30 when we still didn't have our food, part of the party who had a young child ended up requesting food to go, which we then had to ask for 3 times and it still wasn't brought out until 9:45pm. The food was OK at best, not very hot and the lamb had a very strange texture and the chicken was rubbery, the restaurant looked nice and clean but the staff looked really miserable and didn't smile at all. Really disappointing and to be honest wish we would have picked somewhere else to celebrate my birthday as after 2 and half hours and only just getting our food, those of us that were left were really fed up and just wanted to go home. I have tried speaking to them about this since but they ignore all communications.Visited May 2015
