Wing Wah Chinese Restaurant – Erdingtonvisited here on 08/08/12. really really Excellent. food fantastic. service Exceptional. Staff very attentive and nothing was to much trouble. Wide variety of food to choose from. take your own wine or beer. 5*****
Cafe Melange – NorthfieldI am a daily customer at Masters, i think their food is absolutely delicious, i simply love Indian food!
Master Catering and Snacks – HandsworthIf you are bored with the Indian or Italian cuisine you should try this gem in Erdington. I went with my wife and we spent 22 pound. 3 courses, included drinks and excellent hospitality. Highly recommended who wants to try the magical Hungarian cuisine.
Paprikas – ErdingtonHave visited twice and both times the service and food was exceptional. There are the usual balti dishes as well as an extensive range of other fusion style Indian food. My children particularly enjoyed their baltis too! The service was great, Mitch, the owner, was particularly helpful and recommended some really delicious but unusual fish dishes. My only advice would be to book as the restaurant is very intimate and each time I have been it has been very busy.
Cafe Melange – NorthfieldThis is a fantastic curryhouse, the staff are friendly and attentive, and really welcoming of families. The menu is really varied but the aubergine side dish is one of the nicest things I have ever eaten! Decor a bit tacky but food fabulous.
Jangles – Kings HeathFood was great but the service was absolutely horrendous. My husband and I had purchase a voucher through KGB deals for 3 courses for £15, and called to book on a Saturday evening. We were told we could bring our own wine or purchase drinks at their bar. Upon arriving, we were met by a member of the team who welcomed us warmly, only to then be confronted with the Manager of D Spice who accusingly said to us we had to book if using the deal. When both I and the waiter explained that we had booked he stormed off. After checking with the waiter that we were ok to bring our own wine, the manager came over and told us that as we were using the KGB deal we could not have our own wine (glasses full at this point). His manner was rude and aggressive and even after explaining that we had checked twice with various members of staff he reluctantly left us to it. The table next to us were also KGB voucher clients and we both sat there in disarray at the rudeness of the manager. Having ordered their starters, the manager brought them over to the adjacent table and gave one lady her food, however the delivery chap turned up and her food was then left on a side table while he spoke to him. Needless to say, her food was only warm when she received it. Another thing that seemed unusual was that the food deliveries were actually carried out by a taxi firm, with the manager explaining to the clients on the phone not to pay the taxi man. Seeing as there were 4 front of house staff on that night, none of which were apparently trusted to do anything (the manager answered the phone, dealt with deliveries, took orders and served food), it seemed strange that none of these could be delegated with this task. We didn't want to stay for dessert so left and will most definitely not be returning. As a new business, I would expect the staff to be attentive, helpful and pleasant. However, with the exception of the waiter that saw us into the building, we were treated terribly and as though because we had a voucher we were not worthy of decent customer service. The restaurant was empty on a Saturday night, with no music or atmosphere. Really disappointed and would not recommend to anyone.
Jangles – Kings HeathFood good, sweet portion a bit on the small side, Very restricted car parking. Had to get the OK to park the car at the pub opposite. I suggested that this should be on their website, but I was told there had been no problems before. I had pranged my car getting out of a tight situation looking for a their car park
Longfellows – SolihullI have used this pub since it opened in 1973. It is a great local pub with good "pub grub" a variety of entertainment, a good selection of real ales and value for money wines.
Sharmans Cross – SolihullStaff very helpful! Great choice of food, will be going again!
Flavourz Restaurant – OldburyMy wife @ I visited your pub last night the meal was not up to the standard when we visited last time the scampi was dry and the salad was lettuce with a bit of cucumber peppers which was very poor the barman didn't no what wines he had and never asked if we wanted a glass or a bottle I thought the service was poor he never asked if the meal was ok when we got home the wife was sick which is not good for you
The Hare And Hounds – CoventryJust great absolutely fantastic from service to food well recommended
Spice Club – SolihullFabulous meal, great service, would recommend and return.
Horton’s Restaurant – SolihullWe recently visited Sabai Sabai with friends after looking for an alternative to Choapraya and Choababy in Manchester. Following a 2 1/2 hour journey in the snow from Manchester I have to say it was worth every minute. We recently married in Thailand and had the pleasure of eating amazing Thai food in Bangkok, Phuket and Krabi. Myself and 3 other guests had an authentic Thai experience (apart from the snow outside) and will be visiting the restaurant again in the not too distant future. FOOD We ordered a selection of dishes so that we could all taste the different spices associated with different dishes. A dish I tried and loved in Thailand (Som Tam) was not on the menu, but after asking the waiter if it was possible to order, the dish arrived at our table and brought back some great memories. The Toong Tong (Golden Bags) and Pad Gra Prao (Holy Basil Classic) were great dishes along with the more traditional Pad Thai and Red Curry. We tried numerous other dishes and enjoyed every mouthful which left us wanting more even though we were stuffed. SERVICE The service matched the quality of the food. As I mentioned above, they went out of their way to provide a dish that was not on the menu. Their knowledge of the dishes on the menu was excellent and recommended some great dishes for us. They were always on hand for our every need and even entertained the restaurant by singing happy birthday with traditional Thai instruments on a couple of occasions to parties. VENUE The feeling in the restaurant is not only enhanced by the contemporary decor but it also brought to life the authentic Thai atmosphere. I can't wait to go back (open one in Manchester), so enjoy your visit just as we did. Amazing first class Thai experience! Well Done guys!
Sabai Sabai – HarborneBest halal buffet in Bham. Some of their mains dishes surpass the quality of service restaurants in Bham. The variety is huge and the quality is fantastic. I'm serious- i'm hooked to this place.
Haveli Buffet Restaurant Ltd – Balti Triangle1st time eating there and was very impressed with the AMAZING food and staff!!! will visit again :)
Flavourz Restaurant – OldburyGreat food that didn't disappoint but the service was bad. Some people got given the wrong order and 5 of our party members ended up away from the rest of us because they didn't set the tables up for the correct amount of people. Also if you are group of 5 or more people you will be made to pay 10% service which considering they never apologised for making us wait in the cold way past when they booked us in for and still got orders and tables wrong is crazy.
Ponte Di Legno – MoseleyThe Food is very nice and the staff are very friendly and helpful. These is plenty on offer and anything to suite your taste. you get free re-fills with pepsi and the reason is very reasonable
