Fantastic as always

My wife and I have been to the Vine many times. Food is always excellent, staff helpful, general atmosphere is great. This time we had meals from the specials board - fish and pheasant. Both meals were of a high standard, with excellent service. Thank you to Simon and the staff. Highly recommended

Disappointing first visit. Booked a table, was very busy as expected. Food took way longer than were advised it might be. Had to ask twice. Food was not of the standard it should be for the price we paid. I understand it gets busy when the sun comes out but nearly 2 hours for food is not acceptable. Service also wasn’t the best. Will not be returning or recommending.

Lovely meal yesterday (10.5.25), enjoyed my Balmoral Chicken, and the beer, and the service :).

Disappointing choice-several dishes not available,including “Specials”. Perhaps Monday is not a good day.

Steak pie was very tasty and full of lean steak. The lasagne was one of the best my wife has had. Reasonable priced wine. Comfortable pub with nice atmosphere. We will have to enquire about the loyalty scheme

Steak was delightful and the dirty burger was just something else!! Both meals were amazing. The meal was a nice quiet birthday celebration for a couple with down time from family commitments and so worth the visit. Staff were polite and helped with anything that was asked of them. Food on the higher end but worth it occasionally. Highly recommended.

First visit and highly delighted by the experience. Lovely ambience and the owner and staff were friendly and on point. Food first class and decent if not very generous portions. An excellent find as this is authentic Italian.

Took my fiancé here for her birthday, and we enjoyed every moment of it. Inside the restaurant looks great, and the vibe is friendly and relaxed. We couldn't decide which of the mains to order since they all sounded fantastic, the waitress suggested the "Full Mezza for 2" which was 3 courses, each consisting of a little-bit-of-everything. This was the 5th of 6th restaurant we've ate at since moving to Coventry and it is best so far by a mile. All of the staff we polite and attentive. We can't wait to go back.
