Excellent lunch and service!!

Lovely meal Tuesday lunchtime, 3 of us decided to start Christmas early and went for the Turkey and all the trimmings, the other person in our group chose the duck, all meals were fantastic, with great service.

Very attentive and polite staff and lovely atmosphere. We, the same group of four, have regularly visited here for the last 40 years. My one and only criticism, the so called, hand cut chips that are over sized and too greasy. If they were smaller and better cooked then I would be a much happier bunny! In fairness to The Red Lion, many places seem to offer these chips these days. No one appears to offer a well cooked and firm chip. A fuss over nothing maybe but you did ask…

Ohe meal early on Saturday evening, was delicious. The service was excellent. Very friendly atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

Staff very welcoming and informative regarding menu choice. Surroundings were extremely comfortable. Food was excellent. We started with the soup which was probably the best we have ever had. We then had the turkey dinner with all the trimmings which could not be faulted with a good selection of vegetables. Would certainly recommend and will return again soon. All four of us in our party were very impressed and thought it was good value for money.

Myself and my husband had a lovely meal here on a Friday night. The food was excellent and as I don’t like mushrooms, they gladly didn’t cook them in my food for me. We found the service to be great, you never had to wait long to get anyones attention but you also didn’t feel like you were rushed out the door. A wonderful night.

Honestly, I can never fault this place and this visit was perfect. The food was beyond beautiful, it was possibly one of the best meals ive ever eaten. The girls serving were brilliant, the atmosphere was relaxing and the added bonus is that because of their Xmas offers, I get 50% off when we visit in January for my birthday.

A warm welcome, lovely atmosphere and beautuful food - what more could you ask for!

Another lovely convivial meal at the Vine. On a cold and frosty day the roaring fire was a welcome sight. We dine there fairly often with friends as its location is equidistant for us all and we have never come away disappointed with the food, the service and the general ambience. The menu is always varied,, the cooking is to a consistently high standard and no matter how busy they are you receive top-notch attention. All 6 of us had different starters and mains which were excellent and we were all too full for puddings. We will of course be going back again.

Had a wonderful meal , on Thursday evening, the steak was cooked to perfection, and we could not fault the staff and their lovely friendly service, we will definitely visit again, and recommend Da Ginos to anyone

The menu is fantastic, wonderfully cooked presented and served. Staff brilliant and nice prices. Had our 50th anniversay with 10 guests,absolutly great night. Love going there.

I've sent a review before saying how brilliant the food and customer service is at the Red Lion is. Now several visits later, my opinion has not changed. We have never had a bad experience. The food is always lovely, and all the staff are helpful, friendly and professional. We've always been seated at our table at, or before our booking times, and served promptly after ordering our meals. I have brought friends along pn several occasions, and they are also regular customers now.
