This place is lovely. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the food was very good and the atmosphere homely and warm. Despite a mix up with a meal for one of our party of six, the staff more than made up for the error by apologising profusely, deducting the cost of that meal and offering a free round of drinks. We will certainly go back. Thank you for a most excellent of evenings.

The main meals were all of excellent standard, like home cooked. The only minor thing as the custard served with the apple crumble was not warm enough. Will definitely be back.

This time we had the Turkey and Stuffing sandwich it’s a couple of bowls of chips. The meal was great with fresh bread and good quality fillings. We’ve never had a bad meal at the Vine, we’ll worth a visit if you are tired of the chain pubs.
