Have been many times for Sunday lunch and absolutely love the food, I have never had a bad meal from the old crown the staff are so lovely and friendly would highly recommend thanks guys

Always a pleasure paying a visit to the Vine. I've been doing so for nearly 15 years. Food drink and welcome are well worth it. Wednesday fish, chips and mushy peas with a cider and next to a cosy warm fire on a chilly December lunchtime in good company too. What's not to like?

Food was exquisite. Saltimbocca was 10/10, compliments to the chef on that one. However I made a special request upon booking that wasn’t fulfilled (fiancé’s 30th birthday party - not even a happy birthday nor slight acknowledgment of said occasion) To the point where I had to lie to my better half when she asked whether I had made such arrangements (even a kind word from the waiter would’ve been enough) - so to recap, food = brilliant. People skills = abysmal. Open your ears guys it’s not hard!!!

Booked a lunchtime table in the restaurant yesterday so that my wife and I could enjoy a good lunch after our walk over the Clent hills. As always the meal was excellent. If you enjoy country game fayre as well as a traditional quality menu you will not be disapointed. A roaring open fire in the restaurant added to the fabulous country pub atmosphere to enhance an unhurried lunch on an autumn day.

Excellent vegetarian meal. We will come again when visiting Coventry.
