Great meal. Fresh oysters and tempura prawns followed by local lobster and choice of veg. All cooked to perfection. Friendly service and owners in attendance. Acoustics poor, can get a bit noisy for quiet chat.

Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaHad a really lovely meal for my Husband's birthday, never been before, what a fab meal. Will be coming to Into The Blue again soon.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaThe best place for food in Eastbourne!!! Amazing service and food :)
The Good Grub – EastbourneVery nice evening with friends. The food was mostly good. It would be great if there was a few more options for vegetarians. 2 of our group are veggy and shared some tapas style food which was OK but compared to non veggy friends meals it was disappointing. The 4 who had seafood and a meat option could not praise the food enough. Great wine list.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaExcellent food and excellent service
The Good Grub – EastbourneThis was our second visit in as many weeks. We all chose different options from the (limited) menu. (Having said that, I do appreciate that this is a new restaurant, so increasing menu choices will come later). I chose the fish tagliatelle, (which the staff kindly changed to Penne pasta, because I had difficulty using my hand to 'twirl' around on a fork). Regrettably, I was disappointed. There was too much pasta and not enough of the 'fish' substitutes. However, the other members of my family were pleased with, and enjoyed their choices. Thank you for the kind and attentative service though.
The Good Grub – EastbourneThe meal was excellent and thoroughly enjoyed by each and every one of my guests. Coupled with very polite and friendly service, made it a perfect evening to remember. Thank you.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaDivine. Eaten here on several occasions now and never been disappointed! Evening dinner, Sunday lunch or a casual light lunch - all wonderful. The team are delightful and super friendly, you can tell a lot of care goes into this place. Super lucky to have this on our doorstep!
The Good Grub – EastbourneGood service and great vegan food. Most enjoyable evening.
The Good Grub – EastbourneMy family and I visited The Good Grub as we enjoyed The Green Bros. and were looking forward to seeing what changes there have been under the new owner. As it was the Eastbourne Airshow we booked in advance for lunch and I am pleased we did. People had to be turned away. According to the owner getting a table for lunch would not normally be a problem, more so if you're willing to eat outside, although I would still book just to be sure, especially if it is for dinner. The Good Grub has a lovely, relaxed interior with lots to look at without appearing cluttered. There is a good choice of drinks, including alcoholic. We opted for a couple of apple juices and a pineapple juice. The lunch menu is not vast but does have options to keep most people happy. The dinner menu is more extensive and you can always fill out your meal with the yummy sides. For our lunch my wife went for the steak toastie, I had the falafel wrap and my 2-year-old son had falafel and chips. We all enjoyed our meals with the seasoned fries and beetroot hummus being the highlights. Food and drink was brought to the table in good time and the owner made sure we were happy with everything throughout our time. Please note, the toilet is down some tight, twisting stairs, so certainly not wheelchair friendly. Customers are encouraged to leave empowering messages on the wall, which is a unique idea and I enjoyed reading the various quotes. The hand dryer wasn't working but paper towels were provided. When the bill came I was pleasantly surprised. Three tasty meals and drinks for less than £30 - bargain! Even before we had left my wife and I were already discussing a return visit for dinner. Visit The Good Grub!
The Good Grub – EastbourneA lucky find, excellent food & friendly staff in a lovely setting. Highly recommend whether you are vegan or not! We are plant based & had some great, original dishes - well thought out & cooked beautifully. Had dinner on Saturday & returned for Sunday lunch!
The Good Grub – EastbourneNice place with friendly staff. Unfortunately I was squeezed in where I was sitting between seat cushions and had to use a pillow. Food while good quality was unfortunately very bland, no spice whatsoever. The biscoff brownie didn’t taste of biscoff and was a soft sponge texture, if they’d said it was the sticky toffee pudding it would have fit better. Shame as it’s a nice place and there’s so few vegan restaurants.
The Good Grub – EastbourneWe enjoyed the food and will be back
