We had a superb meal at Goodfellows last night. We were a party of 4 who had the seafood tasting menu. The food was faultless and the staff were great. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

Goodfellows at 7B – WellsWe had lunch at Goodfellows yesterday - having eaten out all week (and some restaurants with much fancier pretentions) this was by far the best food and service - delicious food, well presented, lovely service. The set lunch menu is varied enough - eg hake and tagliatelli with samphire in champagne sauce, but also some very tempting dishes on the a la carte.... scallops in a pastry case , duck ........ so definitely need to return! Yummy deserts too. Thank you Goodfellows.
Goodfellows at 7B – WellsThe best restaurant in the area, particularly if you like seafood.
Goodfellows at 7B – WellsMy wife and I had Sunday lunch at Goodfellows for the first time and we were absolutely delighted by every aspect. Our dining ambience was calm, simple and unfussily dignified. We felt relaxed and service was charming and welcoming. The modest Sunday lunch menu offered a variety of dishes including some meat as well as the fish specialities. Presentation of our food was outstanding with artistic touches that also added flavour. Our sea bass was generous and beautifully cooked. We are already looking forward to revisiting soon.
Goodfellows at 7B – WellsAnother delicious meal. Good fellows is exceptional, the gazpacho with crayfish - legendary, the sea bass was perfect. We were there on a Sunday and the roast pork looked fabulous too. The extras in the form of homemade bread and fantastic service make this excellent value for money, for proper cuisine.
Goodfellows at 7B – WellsI have had dinner twice and Sunday lunch once at Goodfellows in the course of the last two months, and all three occasions have been a pleasure. The restaurant is a cut above other restaurants in the town for quality and imaginativeness of food; the seafood is always first class, and a recent scallops dish was memorable. Service is friendly and dishes arrive in good time. There is a good wine list. The decor is on the spare side, but it is fun to sit in the internal restaurant and watch chef Adam at work.
Goodfellows at 7B – WellsThe best restaurant in the South West. Excellent food and service of Michelin star quality.
Goodfellows at 7B – WellsLovely atmosphere, food was great. Would definitely recommend.
Goodfellows at 7B – WellsOutstanding food. Outstanding service. I cannot wait to explore the rest of the menu
Goodfellows at 7B – WellsUtterly delicious meal at Goodfellows last Saturday. Literally could not fault any part of it in terms of flavour - and it was all beautifully presented. My sea bass main course was the best sea bass I've ever tasted.
Goodfellows at 7B – WellsThe food was absolutely excellent. We could sense the real French influence. Classic French standards yet with an imaginative modern twist. This guy really know how to cook! The atmosphere was also really nice. Pleasant buzz but one could hear oneself speak, such a pleasure for those of us used to noisy London restaurants
Goodfellows at 7B – WellsWe had lunch last Saturday from the Market Menu - every course was really tasty, beautifully presented and excellent value. Our hake with linguini was cooked superbly - as tasty as any meal we have had in France or London. The service was refined and smooth. Highly recommended.
Goodfellows at 7B – WellsWe visited on Friday 13th August and what a fantastic meal. We took a very close friend for her birthday surprise and we were not disappointed far from it. Our family friend has eaten in some extremely high class Michelin star restaurants and we just wanted to eat locally but with some nice food. The scallops and i quote “were the best she had ever eaten” but it didn’t stop there, every course was beautifully presented with superbly balance flavours to complemented the fish and never overpowered it., my wife especially loved salmon & spring rolls. The berry desert was fantastic also as was the service from the sommelier who mad our evening memorable. We ate at 7.30 and left at 10.50pm, we will return soon.
Goodfellows at 7B – WellsI can't imagine why it has taken us so long to return to Goodfellows! The food and service had always been good but they were both superlative on Friday night. Every mouthful of the beautifully presented dishes was a delight!
Goodfellows at 7B – WellsWe have been coming here since it opened and it has never disappointed Food is fantastic the scallops are a must so is the duck confit . Wines are great and excellent value as is the service This is one of the most consistent paces we have eaten in anywhere
Goodfellows at 7B – WellsAs visitors to the area we were recommended to this restaurant and are very happy to have been there. Gazpacho soup served with cray fish was really special and our fish main courses excellent. All served by polite and efficient French staff; the entente cordiale is alive and well in Wells if not elsewhere!
